I had an operation on my legs and found it difficult getting into the bath or standing for a shower so this bath seat has been a great asset. Once my other half read the instructions he had this built in no time, he said it was very easy and straight fwd. The seat is very sturdy and robust, there is a large seat and back rest. The legs can be adjusted to make it higher or shorter, it has a push button a bit like the old style hospital walking sticks. This seats states it can hold up to 500lbs so about 35 stone. I don’t know much about the price of these kind of seats but from the build quality I would say it is a reasonable price. I shall get lots of use out of it as I have another operation in the coming months but it’s also not a bad size to store, so it’s such a useful item to own.

The media could not be loaded.  I had a lot of pain going through the installation because the handles don't have rubber shielding, my thumbs and fingers hurt, took me almost 40 minutes to sus this out, the manual not that great I only used it as a reference.Something worth noting don't screw it all the way in when building it, after then you can screw it a bit more until it won't go anymore. Screw in the middle of the chair but leave the 4 long screws till last, the middle screw can go in though it's the shortest screw at the base.came with all the parts, there are no spare parts for reference. Seems sturdy after I built it, but the back is a little too short for my liking, when you screw in the back careful to screw it in the right way as you can get his wrong. The back screws in last with the 4 long screws going through the first and 2nd layers under the chair. Another thing worth noting is there is a number 1 and number 2, 1 goes in first then 2, and it goes like I have in my pictures, with the numbers facing up and the washers are curved to match the areas.I have to say this was a headache to put together because the installation manual was very vague, but after building it there was satisfaction, and it did hold my 100kg weight, it is very strong material and sturdy chair, sadly you cannot shorten it between 1-3 you can only go between 4, 5, and 6 on the legs, and this is rather pointless having 1 2 and 3 on the legs. Prefer it taller anyhow, it is small enough to fit in the shower / bath in the house and I don't regret ordering it, but I do regret building it if that makes sense. I like the chair but hated building it, we use it in the shower at home when necessary.Had I known the screws would do my thumb in, I would have used gloves. As long as the small washers aren't moving that's when you know when to stop, but I twisted fairly hard enough, but not over screwing to the point I thought it might break, just enough to make it feel more sturdy. I must stress had to twist these screws a lot, it seeemed like an eternity.

Before anyone reads this long thread, I’m sorry but it’s worth it. It’s worth it because of two reasons; 1) it’s a very good product and 2) in all of my years, I don’t think I know of any companies or businesses that would do what this company did, especially in this day and age.I received my chair with the shower handle and scrubbers in August 2023. I only started to put it together about a month or so later, give it take a week. The caps in some of the hand screws were supposed to be blue but all of them were gray, and there were supposed to be specific number of hand screws of a particular size to go into building the chair in exact spots. Unfortunately, these hand screws all came in one bag and the amount did not coincide to the instruction manual.I tried as closely as possible to assemble the chair and after a couple of hours, all I was able to assemble was a complete “bench-like” product. Still very solid, very comfortable, just no backrest. I decided to try to see if it would be possible with the remaining hand screws that were as close to the recommended size as possible. This was a very bad idea. I had only put in one hand screw through the metal bar and then into the chair but it went in too far causing a bump on the side one would rest their back on. I tried to unscrew it but it wasn’t coming out. I would try several times and rest every now and then until it finally came out.New problem. The hand screw pulled out the threaded insert in the backseat and it couldn’t go back in because the hole was now damaged and elongated on one side.I emailed the company. They said they can’t do anything even for just the backrest that I wanted. I was told that I will be sent the proper hand screws though. Despite thinking that having the proper hand screws would be futile at this point, the person was very courteous and did seem very sympathetic to my situation health wise.Within a couple of days from that email, another large box arrives and it’s another chair, shower handle and scrubber at no cost. I have been grateful ever since and I have been trying to thank the company for them going well above what businesses do nowadays but I can’t get in touch with them.I want to return all of the items I don’t need so they can still have some inventory accounted for.
