Powerstack 20V MAX Battery Starter Kit, Rechargeable, 5Ah, Lithium Ion (DCBP520C)

These are my favorite batteries. They last longer and are more powerful than all my other batteries. Plus, the charger is super fast. I compared prices (online and in store) and got the best deal on Amazon. Will definitely buy more.

So ,despite the heading, this item gets 5 starts. I bought 2 of these batteries about 2 months ago. They both worked as expected out the box. After 1 charge, I noticed one of the battery's fuel guage stopped working, but the battery was still powering my devices. I was past the 30-day return window with Amazon, so I emailed Dewalt and they immediately got another item shipped to me (even though I told them the battery was still functional despite the fuel guage failure). About another 2 weeks passed and the faulty battery finally died. After doing some research, this apparently is a widely reported issue specific to the 5Ah PowerStack batteries It's a great battery, size is good is you want a step down from the 5Ah XR, and at under $100 on Amazon it's sure worth it. Just keep in mind that it might fail, but Dewalt shouldn't have any issues replacing it if it does. They just asked me for the inv. which I downloadednfrom Amazon, and that was it. So 5 starts because it's a great battery. Though I had issues with 1 of the 2 I bought, it was a hassle-free replacement.

Valve is awesome, better than the nicad ones

Great battery life and reasonably powerful, as it charges from empty to full in about 2.5hrs, which isnt bad at all for an 5AH battery. These slower chargers are also better for battery longevity. Dead simply to use, just slides right onto the charger and provides charge indicator lights. Build quality seems robust too, which is nice to see these days.

Buyer beware. Order two of these battery/charger kit. Both had manufacturing dates of 2022/2023. If you are ok with older batteries than this is a good deal. I dont think its the sellers fault. I went to Lowes and their battery/charger kits had old manufacturing dates for $183.00.

I really like this powerstack battery. Holds charge well and longer runtime. Easy to use and charge it

I waited 10 days for a battery that is 2.5 yrs old and won’t register with DeWalt. I’m trying to decide if I should keep it or not. It did charge, but when scanned, DeWalt said “Product doesn’t exist”. Which means 99% that it isn’t a real DeWalt battery. The charger I suspect is also a cheap knockoff, as there are slight differences from the charger picture on the Dewalt website and this on that was sent. The packaging looks real, but no way to tell but by scanning the link on the battery, which I did. The date on it is 2023/06. Weighing now whether to send back or not…..

Bought because I needed something larger than the 2 amp batteries that came with my tools. Worked really well for 2 years and then had a malfunction. Dewalt completely sent me a new one no questions asked after sending them evidence of purchase. They’re incredible value and they last really long and don’t have the voltage drop off when they get low like traditional lithium cells.

Great deal and the powerstack batteries are small, portable and have more power than the non power stack batteries. The included 5Ah charger is a bonus.

Excelente producto, llevo usándolo en cortes de madera, MDF y MDF enchapado. Creo que es bien sabido que la marca corresponde con la calidad de sus productos. Estoy muy satisfecho.

Ya le di buen uso y si dura mucho mas que las normales, te da poco mas potencia a las máquinas y no es gigante como la flexvolt . Buena inversión si usas máquinas que piden potencia y uso continuo (como sierra recíproca o esmeril).

Dewalt n’est pas dans mes preferer(je suis dans 5 marque differente) mais cette batterie est très bonne. Pour les fan de dewalt je recommende definitivement
