Royal Inscriptions Series
I have been collecting all of this series because of its thorough presentation of inscriptions from the earliest Mesopotamian history. As the seat of man's earliest Biblical beginnings, I wanted to gather reliable historical information to match with Biblical history. I found it in these books and a lot more. I eagerly await the reprinting of the books I am still missing from the series and want to encourage the writers and publishers to continue with more books. Many thanks!

The series is great and essential reading for Assyriologists
The series is great and essential reading for Assyriologists, In particular for those looking for sources that contain the Old-Akkadian dialect. the transliterations and philological and historical commentary will be useful for the scholar to build his knowledge of the period Unfortunately there are no Autographs or pictures of the tablets, meaning you can't check the work of the scholar's reading of a sign. Still, for practical purposes, this will be a welcome addition in the library of any scholar. That being said, the text is a monograph for scholars and probably won't be of much use for the popular reader.
