A few years ago the thought of purchasing books about sheep would have raised a smile. However the increasing numbers of rare breeds near where we live has caused me to take an interest. This is a lovely book that helps identify the breeds and has some useful info about each one. For an animal that appears genetically programmed to commit suicide they have a remarkable ability to survive whether living in the hottest or coldest climates.
