EarthQuaker Devices Levitation V2 Reverb Pedal

Space SpiralBeing analogue, and using the same kind parts that were used in old juke boxes apparently, the Space Spiral doesn't have the tonal versatility of digital delay pedal, but I guess that's part of the appeal here as you can get some beautiful warm tones from this pedal, which digital pedals often struggle to achieve. As with a lot of multi knob modulation pedals it can be quite easy to tie yourself in knots, ending up with some crazy self oscillating wail emanating from your amp but if you're looking for a few starting points check out "Andy at Pro Guitar Shop's" YouTube demo for some great example.Sure it's expensive, but Earthquaker Pedals are hand made in the US and are quite unlike most other companies offerings. You pays your money etc...

This is a unique sounding pedal. Great for Shoegaze or ambient music.I have a few criticisms:1. At this price the pedal should be stereo. Some crazy stereo effects would have been possible- it’s an opportunity missed.2. The decay control has virtually no effect. Decay seems to be ridiculously long even on lowest setting.3. As I have limited space on my pedal board, it would have been nice if the knobs could be adjustable to get a more ‘straight’ reverb sound.The above points being said, it’s an amazing and unique pedal. Well done Earthquaker for having the balls to make it.

A beautiful delay pedal!

Unfortunately my pedal didn't work although the guys at Rock Gear have been great and I'm just waiting for it to arrive back in the post. Fingers crossed
