These metal doorbell push buttons are stylish, well-made , and have the LED lighting feature that elevates the look and function. Easy to install too.

My door bell was short circuiting during a rain and wind storm and the button was in pretty bad shape from years of rain exposure (picture 1). The distance between screw holes from my previous button did not match this button old screws were also thicker and longer - see picture 2) but I was okay with that. Two screws that come with it are not black like the product picture shows so I spray painted them black before install (picture 3). The button glows yellow constantly and the light goes off only on press. If you have a digital chime, you’ll need a diode to connect the two terminals (tiny black thingy between the two terminals covered by electricians putty in picture 4) or else the chime will get interrupted abruptly as soon as you release the button. I was able to reuse the diode from the old button. It does not come with this product. Polarity didn’t seems to matter as far as connecting the button goes. Not sure if the direction of diode matters. Looks decent.

It's almost a year I installed it as my door bell and so far it has worked fine in extreme weather conditions.
