Lovely bath toy
This light up Octopus definately amused our grandson, who giggled and laughed and soaked the entire bathroom (and me) with all his "splashing" with happiness, with the lights and little squirty fountain. It requires 3 AAA batteries which fit into a "water tight" compartment and they supply you with a little screwdriver to open and close this. We did find a little water in this compartment after bathtime was over, so we removed the batteries and dried it out before using iy again.

Bath time fun!
Great toy! Cute, bright and fun, right size for little hands to hold, my little boy had a lot of fun with it at night and didn’t want to get out of the bath, not just for toddlers, even my older boy have fun too.

Bright lights and effective sprinkler
The media could not be loaded. This toy for the bath is really good fun. Bright flashing lights and the water sprinkler is really strong and effective. It's so simple to use, place it in the water and it automatically starts flashing and the water is pumped through to create the sprinkler. There are no buttons to press. The toy came packaged in a plastic bag, together with an instruction sheet and even a screwdriver to remove the screws for the battery compartment. There are four of these. The toy takes 3AAA batteries. There is a rubber seal inside the inner battery compartment which is fairly effective at keeping the water out, but not completely. I have tried to show in a photo that when I took the toy out of the bath and dried it, removed the battery cover and found it was a little damp inside. With this in mind, I would probably want to take the batteries out after each use which is a bit of a chore when bath times are so regular. We have other toys so don't need to use it all of the time, but just a precaution as I wouldn't want the batteries or the toy to ruin. However, a really novel toy which the kids loved to see. Different and interesting. And affordable.

A simple but entertaining little toy
What a lovely little toy. Simple yet fun. This little toy comes with a screwdriver so you only need 3 x AAA batteries. The batteries are well protected from any water in the compartment which I was a little bit sceptical about when I first saw it. Once they are installed you simply put it in the water and away it goes.I found you need to drop this little octopus in the water in order for the pump to start sucking in water. Simply placing it in the water isn't enough and the pump will start but won't suck in water. The pump itself is pretty quiet. When you lift the toy out the water the pump will stop automatically so no need to worry about turning it on and off as it does it by itself. With it's colourful flashing lights this is a great little toy for any baby or toddler to play with at bath time or in a swimming pool.

Very cute bath toy
My kids almost got into a battle over this little octopus toy. They are not little kids anymore but this toy made them behave like toddlers again. When I've suggested that it can go to their 2 year old cousin I had them almost in tears. Both kids got into the bath without any complaints and plaid with it together and nicely. It's made of great quality and needs a few batteries.I can highly recommend it and would have given it an extra star just for cuteness.

Cute "Tubby" Toy
Appreciate no holes to stay damp (moldy) after tub or pool play. My grandson is gleeful putting the little rings on one or another of the legs, taking them off, placing them on others, over and over. Forget about it being an octopus with 6 legs!!! ? He doesn't notice (yet).

Rainbow water feature
The media could not be loaded. This little octopus requires 3AAA batteries which are not included in the box. I can forgive this because a screwdriver is included in the box to make accessing the battery compartment really easy. There are not any on or off switches on this octopus, and it didn’t do anything when the batteries were put in. However, it turns out it has a really sensitive moisture sensor and the octopus lights up and start squirting water and flashing different colours as soon as it touches water. it is super sensitive, because as soon as my son picked it up out of the bath, it stopped - which made him a little bit sad. He’s still a little bit too young to make the connection between lifting it up and it not working, so he did get a little frustrated. However, it really did keep him entertained and engaged in the bath. And I was really impressed with the height that the squirted water reached, which was actually much higher than I thought it would. Overall a very good toy and I was impressed either sealed and security of the battery compartment, because I was convinced that water from the bath with leak into it and make it stopped working, but it didn’t.
