Golden Nest Shredded Dried Pork, Made with Whole Pork, Product of USA (4 oz)

When I was younger the truckers would come in a grab a round carton of tobacco, and there would be cartons of shredded pork beside them. This took me back to that world, taste is great and is really nice by itself, or on top of a ramen bowl. Delish

I took a chance on this product and have been thoroughly impressed.This product comes finely shredded and has the consistency of fine hair. A pinch of this shredded pork has a big taste. I now snack on it daily in my office. When my dog does not find his food suitably tasty, I sprinkle a little of this shredded pork on top of his food, and it disappears instantly. This pork is far less expensive than other pork products and in my opinion is vastly superior in taste to freeze-dried pork products that can be stored for 20+years. I now subscribe for one of these monthly, and sometimes order an additional one during the month.

Lightly flavored

The ginger flavor is a bit too noticeable for me. The texture is fine and everything else is fine.

Great price for the meat without MSG.

Fresh, no artificial ingredients, good product!

I've ordered this several times, but this last order I received tasted weird. There was a weird aftertaste and the pork wasn't crispy and fresh like it usually this. There isn't an option to exchange it so I guess I just need to throw it away. I've bought it 2 times before and it was great so that's why I gave it 2 stars, but now I'm not sure I want to test it again and possibly get another bad product.

My Chinese heritage really reminded me of this product and how my mom use to put this in our congee! I am middle age now and I indulge once in a while to reminiscing of my happy childhood! Thank you Golden nest for your products!
