Easy to use
First time using a mount cutter, as long as you read the instructions you cant really go wrong, it does take a couple goes to get used to it, I found it to be of good quality for something that is plastic.

Didn’t cut correctly. Kept sliding off its line so the mount was useless.

I'm not sure who this is for
It does come with sharp blades that will cut mount board, but the flimsy plastic ruler cannot cope with the amount of force required. This results in wavy lines. There is no mechanism to stop the runner at the corners, so it involves a lot of guesswork to cut the corner. The blade holder does not slide easily in the groove on the rule and slips out occasionally. I should have done more research and bought a professional item - this is practically useless.
