Upgraded from a 7970 Ghz which makes this a solid 2x improvement.The Titan X is very expensive but it will give you that bleeding edge performance enabling things you couldn't do before both for 4k and VR. SLI solutions will be cheaper with similar performance unless it is for an application that cannot use SLI such as VR.I consider the titan x an overkill for regular gaming applications unless you're running 4k, however if you are developing or gaming in VR it gives you that desperately needed performance to enable dynamic features such as full screen shadowing, complex shaders, increased geometry and even 160% overdraw for sharp pixels. All of which enhance presence.It will run Alien Isolation and Elite Dangerous in High/Ultra at a solid 75fps in VR modes. It will also run most 4k content at 50-60fps ranges.NVidia delivers with their maxwell architecture and despite the titan being on the same process node (28nm) as the 7970 with the same power draw, it delivers 2x the performance which shows that efficiency = performance as you scale up.Regarding ergonomics, this is pleasantly quiet card generates far less noise than the 7970 with triforce cooling and has no perceivable coil whine. This is likely because NVidia allows the card to heat up more (83-86) before engaging the fan allowing more efficient cooling. Size-wise it fits in the same envelope as the previous card with the same 8+6 connector.VR future is looking bright, can't wait for the competition and the process node shrinks!

Palit might not be a well known brand here in the UK, but don't let that worry you. All Titan X cards are the same item in a different box (except the EVGA SC which has an overclock written into the bios).The 1st thing to do with your Titan X is OC it, and boy does it OC easily. It took a +175 core / +250 memory straight out of the box with no extra voltage.That makes it sit happily at 1327 core 3758 memory with the stock air cooler. Of course these cards need custom watercooling to unleash their full power but that will have to wait for now.The Titan X is amazing as it is, but the OC potential is what makes the card really worth the money.

I bought four of these as I was in the market for a high-end rendering power house of a PC and I cannot even believe how fast and powerful they are. I use these for CG art/animation and I use the Octane Standalone render engine, which is already a fast renderer as its name implies, but simply renders frames so phenomenally fast with these four horsemen of the digital apocalypse. These foul beasts will laugh at anything you throw at them. You won't be disappointed!

item is excellent would habe given 5 stars if it wasnt for the problems before actualy getting the item. i orderd it new amd i received a returned card which was not the right card at all. bad checking on amazons part for returned goodsafter i got a replaced card sorted which amazon was very accommodating with i set about installing it which didnt seem to workafter about 30mins worked out i needed to update me Bios on my motherboard so it would recognise the cardGigabyte Assasin 2 motherboardnow it works like a dream

Card is everything i expected from the top of the range video card, easy to install, easy to setup, excellent video output on my fallout 4, Only minor gripe i had which had nothing to do with the card itself, but with a card this price, it would have been nice to get some video adapters and possibly a game with it to show how good this card is.

I now have three of these beasts and I use them for GPU render task and for gaming as well.The build quality is amazing, the power of these cards is unbeatable ( and I had GTX 980Ti before, which is very powerful but with half of the VRAM ).Super happy with the purchase.

love it, I water cool it and no more overheating problem. Its fantastic, I use X99-E WS ASUS motherboard, i7 5690... I use it photo editing, gaming, movie streaming etc, etc... I don't have any problem at the moment, downloading is so quick..... its really fantastic, this is my best PC ever built.

This is a great card for gamers and production conpanies. Runs smoothly with Adobe software

Unbeschädigt und gut verpackt ist sie angekommen. Die Grafikkarten ausgetauscht und es lief schon. Die Spiele laufen nun auf den höchsten Einstellungen Prima. Wer eine High End Performance haben will , soll diese haben. Wer es noch um einen Tick mehr haben will kann doch gleich die GTX TITAN Z sich holen. Aber mir genügt die GTX TITAN X für die nächsten Jahre.Edit: Grafikkarte immernoch für High-End Games sehr nützlich :) (2018)

technisch natürlich momentan absolutes Highend...-Verarbeitung sehr gut...-Karte ist fast nicht hörbar.-Stromverbrauch: es wird nur noch ein 6 poliges Kabel benötigt, sonstige Highend Karten benötigen normalerweise 8-polige Zusatzstromversorgung-Versand hat einwandfrei geklappt.

Als WHD Artikel im "Sehr Guten Zustand" bestellt, was geliefert wurde ist könnt Ihr auf den Bildern sehen.1. Artikel wurde zerlegt!2. Artikel war an manchen stellen Korrodiert!3. Jeder Aufkleber mit Seriennummern wurde leicht abgelöst!4. Garantiesiegel beschädigt auf Verschraubung nicht Original!5. Klebstoffreste auf Speicher ICs!6. Gebrochenes und zerkratzes Designergehäuse!7. Es fehlen 7 Schrauben!8. Platine der Grafikkarte verbogen, die Schraubpunkte passen nicht mehr zu den Öffnungen!Die Grafikkarte wurde so wie sie aussieht nicht mit dem Originalkühler betrieben und/oder es wurde eine Zusatzbackplane verbaut.Ich bin einfach nur Entsetzt über den Zustand!
