GuliKit King Kong 2 & 2 Pro Controller/Zen Pro Controller Keycap, PC/Switch Button Layout, Anti Wear-Out Letters, Easy Replacement(ABXY)

I am using a Zen controller (Target's specific version of the King Kong Controller) and it did not come with the Xbox caps that one seems to get if they purchase a King Kong. I am using this on an Apple TV for Arcade and apparently I have the choice to have it recognized as a Switch controller or an Xbox Controller and the button layout will work accordingly. Now you may say why bother with changing the caps so the letters match. Well Apple TV surprisingly has a pretty robust remapping feature. Every game you play can have its own individual button layout of your choice, unfortunately no back paddle support, but hopefully that will happen eventually. The Nintendo layout drives me nuts and with the remapping feature I could see myself losing my mind. So, the fact that alternate caps are available is a blessing. Also comes with a tool to remove the caps. No need to open the controller and split the shell to get to the buttons. Love the Zen/King Kong and the caps are just icing on the cake, so to speak. Please Gulikit, make a pro controller with paddles!!!

The buttons fell just pretty good and are off the same quality as the buttons that come with the controller just with the Xbox lettering. The down side is you will need to sand down the excess gate that is still on them to have a smooth experience.

I asked my adult son if he could help, and he just pulled the buttons right off with his fingers. He said he dug in his fingernails but there aren't any visible marks from it. He made it look very easy. They are just as advertised.

The kit comes with a small metal tool for removing the buttons. This tool can easily damage the sides of the buttons when you're trying to remove them, causing very deep, visible scratches. I had to pop the X button out because I put it in upside down at first, and now it has ugly gouges on it. Disappointing, and unacceptable considering this is a purely cosmetic item.As for the actual quality, they're identical to the stock buttons. Low rating is because the tool is so bad it shouldn't even be included. I should have just disassembled the controller to swap the buttons out.

Yes could have a higher grip contact surface; but if you really squeeze with a proper grip the buttons will come right out without scratches or damage.Purchased it as part of a bundle with the KingKong 2 Pro

The “A” button is printed crooked, which irrelevant to some is mildly infuriating to me. Lettering is also quite faint and needs to be in full light to be seen well. I got them because I glance at my buttons every so often and was getting mixed up (I do use the controller for both Switch and PC, so both button layouts are in use). Personally didn’t experience the scratching issue, but I can see how it is possible.

The cap remover is awful. It can't grip the button properly, left sever scratches in the glossy finish and I ended up just swapping back to the old layout because of the problems just removing the first 2 buttons.Ended up just throwing out the buttons. $15 down the drain
