And fabulous fun. Probably the noisiest game in the world. The more players the merrier. Really need at least 4 players to have a good game, can be over quickly when you have only 3 players.Only reason that it is not a 5 star review is because the cards are not the best quality, after about a dozen games they are starting to peel. Given the fast pace and lively card exchanges during the game the cards really ought to be laminated better.... but don't let this put you off buying because it is a great game.Warning: Because it is such a noisy game not suitable for for anyone with Tinnitus.

Great family game for those that don't mind a bit of noise. The came can get quite rowdy so expect a little shouting but it's really good fun for kids and adults. I definitely paid too much for this but couldn't find this version anywhere else.

Pit is a really simple and engaging game to play. It's one of the better short games you can play, and it really baffles me that this is not more popular that it is!It's essentially a trading game, where you collect a hand of your chosen commodity by trading with a partner (the identity of the cards traded always anonymous). Amongst the commodities, there is a wildcard in the Bull, and a deterrence card in the Bear. A bull card can double your hand, or complete it in shorter time, while a Bear card will always lose you 20 points if you are stuck with it at the end (a Bull can lose you 20 as well if you are not the PIT winner). Whomever collects a full hand of 9 first, shouts PIT, and wins the round and points associated to his hand.Quality: I have rated this product poorly, because the quality of the cards are very poor. After the first game of play, the cards where flaying at the corners/sides, and looking as though they had been in use for a year. I don't expect them to last long.

Fun game, but the outer box got squashed in transit (this is more a fault of the packaging than the product). Played a few times over Christmas, and it's certainly more enjoyable after a few drinks. 4 out of 5 stars as the repetition does kick in after a while. If you like quiet games, I wouldn't recommend Pit

This is my favourite card game I have ever played.It is really good to get people in a group situation to relax and get more confident around each other. I whip it out at occasions where the conversation is dry or the party is a bit dead and it really make the room brighter and energised.I love this as it allows lots of people to play. Came quickly and was exactly what I wanted. Brilliant for travelling.

I used to play this with my parents and siblings as a child and I'd forgotten how much fun it is - not for the shy and retiring, it involves a LOT of shouting at each each in a frenzy of card trading until someone wins. Games are short, exciting and noisy. Brilliant fun.

Played this game round a friends loved it bought it! It is now a firm favourite in our house and when we have family get togethers. You can play it very simply or make it bit more competitive with points each round. Its a good exscuse to shout and behave like a kid for a bit! Rules easy a really good family/drinking friends game.

Bought this card game for Christmas and god did we get use out of it! Was such a fun family game, easy for people all ages to pick you. Very easy instructions and to follow. Can have up to 8 players I think so everyone can get involved, no excuses! The kids loved it, if you want to make it more serious you can keep track of your scores and any deductions.
