I have never been able to diet before, but this is an Excellent Product. Love the taste of this. In 8 weeks I have lost over 10 pounds - with a holiday and all the eating that entails in the middle. So I am well pleased. Easy to use (I love mine warmed for 60 seconds in the microwave - it thickens like a porridge), enjoyable to drink and versatile. See the Puriton website for suggestions. Coconut is my favourite (bizarrely as I hate coconut normally). Most days I go from breakfast to mid afternoon with no feeling of a need for food, and with a few nuts or a piece of fruit I then last until my normal dinner in the evening - and even then I have gradually developed a need for smaller portions. I still have apple pie & custard, & mince pies etc but just a small portion. The one thing I would say, is make sure you don't skimp on the body's other needs. I was having a few dizzy spells, and I wasn't getting enough salt in my diet. So I now have a few crisps (just 4 or 5) or add a small amount to my food and that seems to have resolved it, without affecting the weight loss.

Awful. Gritty, unpleasant taste. I bought for the presumed health benefits, and even purchased a blender so I could use this product, but it's nothing I can continue with and would prefer SlimFast, which is saying something!

Good to find a product that tastes great and is healthy. Can be made with or without fruit/veg. I tried with strawberries and blueberries and it complimented the taste nicely!

Not as tasty as some of the others but it is very filling and nutritious.

It doesn't get thick enough

Awesome I use these protein shakes as a meal replacement sometimes. I have choked down some horrible concoctions called protein shakes in the past but this is lovely. I blend it with banana oats oat milk and a cheeky spoonful of peanut butter for breakfast and it can get me through a large part of a hectic 12 1/2 hour shift in a busy maternity unit where meal stops can be few and far between. It is also great when you get home hungry and tired as something a little bit more nutritious than the usual default setting of toasted bread products 😁

One of my first bags of Purition, which I’m using to stop me from mindlessly shovelling in carbs and sugar during lockdown. I’m currently enjoying Purition shakes for breakfast and lunch, 6 days a week. I’m mixing it with lactofree semi-skimmed milk, using a USB handheld blender, which works perfectly. I find that giving the shake 2-3 45 second blends, then the same again with ice, produces a lovely smooth, foamy texture. This would probably be less time if you have a nutribullet or other high power blender. It still has a little texture from the nuts and seeds but it’s not unpleasant. The flavour is there but not overpowering, and it’s not too sweet which I’m really happy about. I am finding it doesn’t keep me full for hours but that’s to be expected in the first week, when going from high to low carb - I’m on day 4 and feeling less hungry each day. I’ve used SlimFast and Huel in the past. The former was too sweet, too limited in flavour and full of rubbish. The latter was just foul, so disgusting I couldn’t even drink it and resorted to making Huel porridge but I gave up after a week because trying to swallow it actually made me gag. Purition by contrast is actually tasty, natural and enjoyable. There’s a massive range of flavours and none are too sweet. I’m now experimenting with all the different flavours (in sachets, ordered direct from the company) and trying the vegan options too (more gritty and earthy but more filling).

This product is not a substitute of a meal at all. It does not give any consistency to the smoothie and I won't purchase it again or trying another one. I don't know how this product can have good reviews, It is just a waste of money. Just add some almond flour to the milk and it would taste and look exactly the same but far cheaper.
