Easy peezy
These make transplanting tender seedlings so easy. They break down in wet soil so you can just bury it with the plant without disturbing the roots.

Good product but short qty
These pots are nice and do the job. Unfortunately, I paid for a 10 pack but only received 9....They should rethink the loose sleeve packaging and use something more secure - its clear my missing pot dropped out of the sleeve before it made it into my shipping box.

GOOD DEAL
I bought these for Dark Burgundy Geranium seeds. 3" is a good size so I don't have to size up before planting. They hold shape when watered, include drain holes and can be placed direct into outdoor pots. A bit lower prices at Walmart or Home Depot but only if you go into the stores or spend $35+. 5-STARS

Great for starting seeds
I really liked using these to start my seeds in. The soil seems to get dry a little bit more quickly because of the material, but I just water a little bit more often. These give the seeds room to grow for a little bit before I have to plant them, which is nice. These are supposed to be able to decompose if you plant them in the ground with your started plant, but I won't be doing that since I'm using containers. I do think it's a great option for people who want to easily transplant their seedlings to an outside garden.

Works great but can get moldy..
In my experience these types of naturally breaking down pots are a superb idea but unless you will be adding the pots directly to ground soil within a couple weeks of filling them, they can get moldy and some plants may not make it. These really are an incredible invention and as I increase the greenness of my thumb I feel these can be a great and easy plant medium. Make sure that you have a drainage hole at the bottom though and do not keep them in standing water. These pots do dry out well and also break down nicely when making final transplant to garden. I recommend breaking open the bottom very carefully as to not upset the plant roots because the roots usually grow thru the bottom, which is a great benefit as they are supported, etc. Just be weary of the mold growth, like I mentioned above, they will absorb water nicely but I had many inside our house awaiting transplant outdoors(we live in MInnesota) and my husbands allergies got really bad from these and there was also a strong compost/ manure type smell we noticed... all from these pots.. I now have a little greenhouse outback which holds moisture and humidity wonderfully for germination and regular plastic or styrofo cup planters... but I know these would only be in mold heaven.

ENFIN !
