Stylish, functional and (actually) waterproof this backpack is great.I purchased it a year ago after being caught in a storm and having my uni textbooks get drenched.Since then I've never looked back, every time rain comes and my friends begin to panic I am calm, perhaps even a little mischievous. I know however hard the rain is everything in my bag will be safe.Even if this bag was a total eyesore I'd still recommend it purely on the basis of functionality but fortunately it looks better than pretty much any purely for fashion bag does too.An all round win, 10/10 would recommend.

Leaving an indifferent review because I returned the bag unused. Have been looking for a decent backpack for a while now and thought I'd spend a little more and get something better quality. This bag cought my eye and when it arrived it certainly looked the buisiness. Stylish, a good size, well made, comfortable straps... All seemed perfect except...There's no clip to fasten it closed. This wasn't very clear in the listing but the only way to keep it shut it with a strip of Velcro across the rim of the opening and a strap across the top which, again, is held in place with Velcro. Why just Velcro? In time, with regular use, Velcro loses it's stickiness and becomes less secure. Sure, it all sticks down nice and secure when it's new but what about after a few months of use or even a year or so...? I wasn't happy paying that much money for something with I believed would quickly wear out so, alas, I had to return it.If you're not bothered about the lack of clip I'm sure you'll love it because it is, otherwise, a nice bag. Just wasn't for me

As expected well made and as described laptop compartment a good addition. Very sturdy and waterproof. Good value for money.

So in general I've really like the backpack, but have to give it one star as the velcro at the top has immediately ripped on the sowing seam.Assuming this one is just defective? How do I sort a replacement?
