Q: Is the material durable enough from cats scratching?

I bought 2 of these (and wish I never bought ANY of them as they are SO HARD to get on) however......I don't think these would be durable for a cat with claws. They are okay at keeping scratches off in case a dig jumps on it however cat claws are much sharper. I would not recommend for that purpose.
