Henchman Platform Tripod Ladder - 6 foot

I ordered this ladder on a Tuesday evening and it was delivered two days later on Thursday. It was very well packed and the instructions for use were very clear. The feet are like claws which grip the ground outside and prevent slippage, but would need to be used with some form of protective matting where there is vulnerable flooring inside the house.I needed it to cut a 7 foot hedge which is about 70 feet in length and had grown to more than 10 feet in height during the course of the summer. The ladder is very light and easy to carry and put into place - its three legs make it much more stable than a conventional set of steps and with only one leg at the back it is easy to get very close to the hedge to cut the top. I was using a long handled motorised hedge cutter which has an adjustable cutting blade and I felt very secure when standing on the top working step as I was able to lean against a supporting bar at the top on the ladder and there was not sideways movement.This ladder in ideal for access up to a height of around 10 feet and the only adjustable component is the rear leg. It is best for trimming hedges, working on ground floor windows and interior decorating

This ladder appears to be a slightly cheaper listing for the same ladder I bought last week, and from the same company, I will repeat my review, Unfortunately this ladder is not as depicted in the picture, neither is it as described in the description, it's a good quality product but is not as advertised, I thought I was ordering a ladder with a working step height of 1.8M extendable to 2.4 M, it's not, fully extended this ladders working step is only 1M from the ground, nothing like the picture or the description, be aware of this before you purchase as the returns policy is non existant to prohibitive, I don't think Amazon should be allowing this.
