1.Twist the knob cap in an Anti-clockwise manner until can not rotate. 2.Pull up on the release tab to release the suction and remove. 3.Wash PVC base bottom with water, reuse it after drying.

Are there any suction holder that work on a painted wall or cabinet wall?

They can’t. Suction paper holder have to be installed on airtight and smooth flat surface. Due to there’s a little adhesive on suction base for better vacuun, painted wall will be damaged, and wood surface might not keep the vacuun well
