Glasstic Shatterproof Glass Water Bottle - 16oz - Double Walled - Grey Cap & Base - Love Design

It doesn't get better than this. Everything about this product is perfectly designed. I hate the price however. I used mine all last Spring thru Christmas. Then I left it in my car on a -15 degree night & the inner glass broke. The outer plastic contained all the broken glass & water so was no mess to clean. I went to buy another one but it was too pricey so I bought not one, or two but 4 different glass containers trying to find one equally as good & none of them were sufficient! They didn't have plastic on the outside to protect the inner glass. (I refuse to use plastic for my water.) The sippy lids on the others were too big (have to wipe off mouth after each "sip") or too small ( have to hold your head high up while it water trickles into mouth). They didn't have a moveable hook to use in multiple situations. They didn't lock lid in place when traveling & throwing it in the back seat so they don't leak. Tthey didn't have extra soft plastic ring on the bottom to give better shock proofing to prevent breaking. They didn't have a big enough opening to easily fill & wash. And more I'm forgetting. So after spending twice as much as I would have just buying another or these, I discovered I couldn't live without the Glasstic Shatterproof glass/plastic water bottle. It even fits perfectly into my car's cup holder: not too big or too narrow. I also unscrew the bottom plastic part & insert a $10 bill folded up so where ever I go I have money on me (as most women's pants don't have pockets or the pockets are too small to trust having money in & I often don't carry a purse whereas I always carry my water bottle).

This bottle is a very good idea in theory. But in reality it leaks terribly. After I had it for a week or so, they sent me an email asking me if I was happy with it. I wrote back and explained the problems I was having with it. They said that it was leaky because I had been sent an old lid design and that they would be happy to send me a new one for free! I thought this was great so I agreed. A little while later, I received the lid, got it washed and finally had a chance to test it out. But lo and behold... There was the dribble down the front of my shirt again. I tried taking it apart, cleaning all the seals etc. but no joy. So I sent them another email telling them I still was not enjoying my product and that I just wanted to return it. They said I would have to return it to Amazon. OK fine, but now I go to Amazon web page and it tells me it's too late to return it. Had I not given the company a chance to make it right, I could have just gotten my money back. I wouldn't chance it on this product. I would try something with fewer parts and gaskets. And for what it's worth the lid is still made out of plastic which is made in China :-( Also, it does not hold very much water.

I love love love this water bottle!! I started searching for a glass bottle because I hate drinking out of a plastic water bottle...that plastic aftertaste is just gross. Glasstic is the best of both worlds since I have great tasting (glass enclosed!!) water and the plastic outside gives me the confidence to use it. Best of both worlds! Now my kids want their own glasstic bottles, so I'll end up ordering three more. It seems like the water stays colder for longer also. Maybe that's because of the double layer or something or that it's glass - either way, I love it.This is an ideal bottle for anyone diagnosed with Raynaud's Syndrome (where your fingers turn funny colors due to the cold) because the plastic sleeve stays at room temperature! No numb/blue fingers is always a perk. Plus, any condensation stays trapped inside - no more soggy papers in the backpack. And it is completely sealed - no leaks!I really researched all of the different glass water bottles, and youtube videos from glasstic made my decision easy. You can see how the glass bottle slides out of the plastic sleeve - great for easy cleaning because it disassembles into all 4 different parts.Did I mention it's super cute and I love the modern design? I've been drinking more water just because this looks so cute. Highly recommend!!!

This is the prettiest water bottle I ever had. but that is the only thing I like about it. You have to completely unscrew the cap every time you take a drink. The opening is so wide, it's hard to drink from and usually drips on my clothes. It is heavy because it is insulated, but it doesn't insulate very well because it warms up just as fast as any other water bottle. On my next trip to our local resale shop this will be going.

I ordered two of these and I must say the customer service is amazing. I got an email from them before I received the bottles to assue me that they stand behind their products and to contact them for any reason which meant a lot. I like that they disassemble and all the parts are super easy to clean. My only concern is losing the lid because I'm not used to having water bottles that the lid comes off.

I absolutely love this water bottle. I drink over a gallon water a day and its great for adding water throughout the day. It's great for drinking from the bottle but wish they will add some type of straw as an addition to purchase along with this. Happy customer and completely satisfied. You can also remove the glass from the plastic to clean as well.

It is definitely NOT shatterproof. My daughter took it to school and thought I put ice in it, when it had actually smashed and was full of glass shards. Dangerous for kids. I do not recommend. The description is definitely inaccurate.

I purchased this bottle for my 12 yr old daughter who's now attending high school. I didn't want her to feel as if she was a little girl & decided that this was the right look for her. What I didn't expect was the mouth of the bottle..I somehow assumed it was the bottle with a smaller opening or a spout of some kind. Also thought that the water will stay cold for a longer period of time. I will say she's received quite a few compliments & she love the cool design.
