I love these things! The cup part is made of heavy melamine and they are dishwasher safe. I messed up and ordered 4 "look-alikes" and they turned out to be the actual very thin plastic cups glued to a base. I gave them to Goodwill. These, however, are heavy duty and should be a real hoot when they appear at a campfire gathering.

I bought this as a gag gift for xmas. We always exchange gifts for grown ups with gag gifts that may be later used, to make it fun for xmas. Amazon does a great job with packaging as usual. It came in it's own box with the Original Red Neck label. I was surprised it was so well made and the top, solo cup part, wasn't made with just cheap plastic.

Everyone who got these for gifts loved them! They're not just a floppy plastic cup glued to a candle holder base, as some say they are made or that you simply take a Solo cup and cheap candle holder and glue them together to make them. The cup is melamine and even makes a "tink" sound when you thump it with your finger. Great gag gift that is actually great to drink from.

its a 50/50 opinion I ordered 4. 2 were perfect but 2 looked like they were built by the so called red neck. The stems were off center in fact one was almost at edge. But since it is a joke gift I guess it works. On the plus side these are not flimsy SOLO cups. They are heavy duty and should last awhile
