Did not survive international flight
I bought this for a flight from UK to Canada. My guitar was marked fragile but must have been dropped as the case was damaged, one of the locks broken and my guitar damaged too. The case did not do it’s job as far as I can see.

It's OK - but only just.
I bought this case on the strength of other reviews, which were mainly positive. The case is OK but I don't think it warrants the rave reviews it's received. The case is made of cheap looking plastic and the catches are a bit flimsy - I paid just under £82 for it and think a realistic price would be between £50 - £55.Having said that, the Grand Auditorium guitar I bought it for is a good fit and I will be keeping the case until I either buy a better case or sell the guitar with the case.

Will it survive an aircraft hold?
I havent tested it yet but I have watched virtually every video on taking guitars on an airplane. The fact that my handmade precious acoustic guitar is a loose fit is good because it means when I take it on an airplane I can tuck tea shirts and other soft garments around the perimenter of the soft lining to increase the impact resistance and save space in my cabin bag which will have my compact amplifier in). I bought the curved moulded case rather than flat version because it will add to the strength. I am preparing for baggage handlers throwing or dropping it even though I will add FRAGILE stickers to it. The downside is it will be cumbersome to cart around when I do street performing so I will also pack a light soft case. I am a craftsman (guitar builder) so I have an eye for quality and I would say it is well built and not likely to bust open or crush.
