BlACK & MULTI GREEN CHESS SET

I find the material and size is quality but the board and pieces have some blemishes and scratches since opening which made me kind of feel it's second hand or mint condition not brand new , the comment is especially clear on the board itself. I don't know, maybe it gives it organic and genuine feel but I wished it was finished a bit differently for example the edges of the board has some cutting dust on them it could have been a much better feeling if it had lacquer applied to the edges for both preservation and better look If I had to purchase again , I would also opt for a light color I believe the lighter board can fit in almost any room for decor as well not just for playing. I also noticed one missing thing that I wished they added as an optional item, which is another set of pieces for promoted pawns maybe a pair of queens at least. Overall it's a good purchase , maybe I'll try to do the missing parts myself.

Reçu rapidement et en parfait état. Très joli plateau avec ses couleurs originales (change du noir et blanc), les pièces sont de grande taille. La personne qui l'a reçu en cadeau était très contente ;)

It’s a beautiful chessboard and would be perfect for on display!! But needed a case to hold it because afraid animals would knock it over !! Didn’t have a case so returned for the one with a case!!

The board and pieces are heavy and beautifully made. The bottom padding doesn’t stick, but you don’t really need it if you’re using it as a decorative item. I was actually stunned at the weight and quantity when I received it. It’s worth every penny.
