I’ve had the bag the bag for five months and I’ve never had a problem with using it in the rain. Inside is a waterproof ligning that works really well. I’ve used the bag for Cadet Cambrian Patrol which is a 30k hike round the Brecon Beacons and on the second day it chucked it down but all the kit survived, i would probably advise though using a waterproofing spray on it after a while to avoid any deterioration. Hope that’s helpful :-)

Q: Can the waist support be removed?

Yes the waist support can be removed. It’s held in with a pretty strong patch of Velcro so is a bit of a faf to remove. The bag is awesome.

Q: does it have also water bag poutch?

Yes it has a bladder section and a side or top exit velcro hole.
