Amazing my child loved it!

…as indicated by the series title ~ 'DOVER LITTLE ACTIVITY BOOKS': 'Printed in the USA'Measuring around 10.5 cm x 14.5 cm, this was smaller than expected but it does pack a fair bit into the 62 reasonable quality pages.The pictures are 'framed', so there is no problem getting into the spine area to colour, but it does make the pictures even smaller, especially as the children speak in speech bubbles.The current stock images above give a fair indication of the layout.The first & last pages are appropriately "Good morning" & "Good night", with the inside title page carrying a cheery "Salut".With the rest set across double page spread format for the best part, the colouring-in opportunities are outlined in black and are on both sides of the page with popular words, days of the week, months of the year, events, weather, pets, (colors) etc.All have a guide to the French pronunciation, too, although, IMO, help may be required, depending on age & experience, as I find some of them difficult to say accurately.Also, 'Je voudrais' I would prefer to see consistently as 'I'd like' rather than 'I want', but that is splitting hairs, arguably!The English translation is at the bottom of each page.Also on the negative side, it can be a challenge to get the book to lie flat at the chosen pages and I am not sure how well the binding will stand up to too heavy handling.I only use colouring pencils or crayons in my colouring books so cannot comment on potential bleed through from wet tips, other than reiterate that the pictures are on both sides of the page.[8 images attached]
