Terribly confusing with wrong information
Bottom line, do not buy this book. It is poorly written, confusing, and wastefully bloated. For 40 pages, the book keeps trying to define puts and calls. That is such wasted space and since not all the definitions are the same as before, only adds to the confusion. Several times, the explanation is downright wrong and directly conflicts with how it was previously defined. It seems like the author was just trying to pad pages by repeating himself over and over and over. Some paragraphs seem to have absolutely no sense nor value to understanding options with no explanation why the author even wrote about them.So many errors that I think the author has never actually traded options before - It almost seems like he read someone else's book and then tried to regurgitate it and changed words so that the plagiarism would not be so obvious.Frequent use of random non-standard terminology. So many times the author substitutes a "layman's" term for what should have been a very specific standard term, which just causes confusion - The author should have always used consistent terminology.Sometimes it seems that a non-native English speaker wrote this book.Pg 68 suddenly dives deep into all sorts of charting terminology without any introduction as to what any of them mean. On these pages, the author also describes the chart images in the book referring to colored lines (like Yellow) - but all the chart images are BLACK AND WHITE - there are no red, yellow, blue or other colored lines!!I only got to page 70 before I absolutely gave up even bothering to try to push through to see if there was anything of actual value.I have attached a few sampling photos of all the errors and confusion I found. There WAY more problems than these few images depict. Just about every page had issues. In summary, it is pure junk and only worth to line my cat's litter box.

Know the basics before reading and be patient
The author, Noah Smith, must have been rushed. He would have served us 'newbies' better if he had used a final editor before publishing: abbreviations not explained, incorrect prepositions making the meaning of the sentence questionable, giving the same definitions for calls and puts repeatedly but failing to define other concepts, using the word CHOICE as a verb and a noun without explaining how 'choice' is applicable as a noun with Options, etc.I will keep the book because, after I find a book to train me and I understand the basics of options, some of his suggestions may prove useful. Mr. Smith is obviously well-informed and knowledgeable.

Absolute twaddle
My brain hurts and I lnow less about options after reading this piece of tosh than I did before. The reason it is 7 books in 1 seems to be that the “author” (if there is one—see below) gave a chimpanzee access to the cut and paste function on his word processor to repeat jumbled passages of incoherent text in random order throughout its pages. The volume contains no CIP data, but an equally incoherent copyright statement suggests the material may have been plagiarized. Amongst my favorite howlers are, “Credit spreads are also known as ‘credit spreads’ in some financial communities’” (p. 156), and “To minimize your losses, we strongly advise you to begin by hedging as much as possible.’”(p. 58). Oh and here’s a lovely passage on Risk Management: ”Risk Management helps reduce losses. In addition, it can help safeguard a dealer’s accounts from losing all his or her cash. The danger takes place when the trader suffers a reduction. If it could be handled, the dealer can open himself or herself up to earning money in the marketplace“ (p. 190). Every page yields many such gems and if you are amused by the stupidity of the human race you may find joy in this material. If however you wish to find clear information and actionable strategies about options, look elsewhere.

A precise and clear manual
I found it to be a very precise book, with very good basic concepts that I carefully considered and it guided me in the right way to enter the options world. This manual is a good argument for debt spreads and other strategies suitable for a smaller account like mine, it gave me several practical ideas that I could try out and very low risk. All very clear and well explained.

All over the place - way better books available
Man, this book is very hard to read and reads like it has been written in another language and put trough google translate. The information is anything but easy to read, all over the place and feels like a chaos. Really disappointed and hoping to save someone some hard earned bucks on this one.

Review: OPTIONS TRADING
This book on trading is really complete and well done because it contains 7 books in one and explains everything you need to know to create a passive income working from home. Trading has now become a real source of income but you need to know how to avoid some risks and temptations and this book will provide you with the right suggestions. This book is aimed at both beginners, because the basics of trading are provided, and experts because advanced strategies and techniques are provided. It's a really good book. Advised
