I never thought I’d develop a bond with a fan, but the Dreo 25dB Tower Fan changed everything. This thing is practically a ninja, whisper-quiet, ultra-cool, and always ready to make any room a serene, breezy paradise. Operating at a subtle 25 decibels, it’s quieter than my cat’s purr, and yet, it’s powerful enough to turn my stuffy living room into a gentle arctic breeze. With nine different speeds, this fan practically has its own personality. From the “slight breeze” for just a touch of coolness to the “full-on arctic blast,” there’s a setting for every mood, and the smooth 90° oscillation means everyone gets a share of the cool.The smart features make it even better. It’s fully compatible with Alexa, so now I can cool down with just a voice command. Nothing quite beats saying, “Alexa, make me cool,” and watching this fan come to life like it’s on a mission. And yes, the remote is a delight, though it’s so lightweight, I may have lost it twice already. I’d keep it glued to my hand if I could.If you’re after a fan that doesn’t compromise on cooling power or turn your room into a noise fest, this is the one. I hadn't heard of DREO before, but watching numerous reviews, it's clear that it has a good reputation. I purchased the pedestal fan and was so impressed I invested in this tower version for my bedroom.It's a very modern design, in a black/silver finish. There's a small white LED display and touch sensitive controls beneath. It looks premium to me and the materials are really good quality. It's also very lightweight.If you don't want to use the controls on the fan there is a neat remote control covering all functions. You can use the app, but if all those aren't good enough, then you can call out commands via Alexa or Google!Turn the fan on, and you get zero noise from levels 1 to 4, and barely audible above that until you reach level 9 (yes that many levels!) and even on 'Turbo' the noise is definitely tolerable. You get various modes, such as sleep, auto and natural. There are on/off timers and also schedules.The app is superb (which makes a big change for these type of appliances). Set up was really quick and simple. No messing about with router settings. It is really well thought out and you can set up various schedules/timers and calibrate the temperature sensor. Firmware updates can be found here too.Now, no review would be useful if negatives weren't included. My niggle is with the remote. You cannot assess which button is which in the dark, even by touch. The buttons are very shallow and close together. Luminous graphics would help here. At high speeds the fan wobbles very slightly, but not a major issue.Conclusion: This is a superb product in looks, build quality, performance and functionality. I liked it so much I bought 2 other DREO fans for my home, which are equally good. I highly recommend.

I already have a Dreo Smart heater for our summerhouse, which warms it up nicely in the winter months. Now that it is Spring, we have the opposite problem - the summerhouse has 8 windows, 2 French doors so a lot of glass. Get the sun shining and it heats up quickly, so we needed a fan. The Dreo was the logical choice, as it is also controlled by the app / Alexa. Easy to set up, stood in the corner and is very quiet. Turns out it has a small heat exchanger built in and actively cools the air - so you get a lovely cool breeze blowing over you. The ‘Natural’ mode is great, as the breeze changes, just like it would outside. Very pleased, looks good, nice and quiet.

A very well designed and capable fan. Comes with a remote but you can control it from an app as well. Setting up was easy using the quick setup guide. The fan has 9 speeds with the option to oscillate. Speeds 1-3 are very quiet, which I like very much, especially when sleeping. Another thing I like is the timer, very handy. Not too heavy, so easily moved from room to room.A very capable, quality fan that I have no hesitation in recommending.

I don't normally write product reviews!We returned from a break with friends on the med, having experienced the effectiveness of their bladeless fan, determined to buy something similar. Our existing room fan was so noisy that it was difficulkt to watch the tv or listen to music!After a lengthy consideration of the tower fans available we decided that this Dreo model would probably fit our needs ... and, boy, have we been pleased!Having unboxed and plugged in, connection to our wifi network and Google Home was seamless and almost instant - this has enabled automated switch on/off and voice control to suit our schedule. With 9 fan speeds available, we have yet to use it above level 6 for any length of time and this does not just blow but it chills effectively as well. That it does so as quietly as it does is just fabulous and at a cost much lower than our friends' bladeless fan! Lightweight and portable enough to take up to our bedroon when needed - although I suspect we will have another before too long!
