Excellent shower head. Have mostly Grohe plumbing in our bathrooms and kitchen. Replaced the shower head that I bought that was a larger head also was not solid brass and it started leaching what looked like rust. Very happy with the purch ace,

It is a good but a completely ordinary shower head. Out of all the available settings only one is useful. The others are silly gimmick no one would ever use.But the price is absolutely not worth it. More than 100$ for plain shower head? You can get the same results with 20$ shower head. It just won’t say Grohe on it.I’m all for paying for quality but this shower head is as plastic as any other 20$ shower head. It is just ridiculous that someone decided it’s ok to charge this money for a plastic cone with holes.I kept it but feel stupid for buying it ever since. I has been almost 6 months since I got it.

The Grohe SmartActive Fixed 3 setting Rain Shower Head with its multiple settings has worked very well for us. I love the rain shower setting and for a massage the stronger setting is so nice. It looks great as well.

This is a super nice rain-type shower head. Granted, Grohe products are on the expensive side, but, as they say, you get what you pay for.Installation couldn’t have been simpler. I simply took an adjustable wrench and took off the old one and replaced it with this one. It took me a total of about five minutes to install.This shower head has three spray modes, and they all work great. I had a rainfall shower head several years ago that had three spray modes, and I never used anything but the “full” mode because the other two modes were terrible. That’s not the case here.The matte black finish on this shower head is gorgeous, and it arrived in flawless condition. This shower head has dozens of nozzles, and every one of them worked. And, if one of the nozzles becomes clogged, it looks like all you would have to do is rub the nozzle a bit to unclog it.I have no doubt that this shower head will give us years and years of trouble-free service. And in the time that we’ve been using it, the finish has remained flawless. I don’t see even a hint of discoloration or rusting. I love Grohe products and this shower head is super nice. It's larger than I was expecting and puts out a nice even stream. There's rain spray, massage spray and jet spray that you can switch with the push of the lever. The holes where the water comes out are easily cleaned with your fingers to avoid any gross buildup. When you turn the shower off the shower head doesn't leak out a lot after. This doesn't come with the shower arm extension so you will need to purchase one separately. Very nice quality and attractive shower head.

Why are there no instructions? I don't know which way the filter basket is supposed to point, the rubber seal is too big to fit in the opening, I don't know if I'm supposed to use plumbers tape. The website does not have any instructions either. They link to videos that are not about installing this product. I tried putting the strainer and seal in the opening the best I could, but it's leaking. For a $200 shower head, I expect to receive a couple of sentences for installation or a basic diagram, and a seal that fits.Since the strainer and seal don't fit, I installed without them. It leaks less now, but still leaks some. I will probably get some plumbers tape. In the meantime, I've taken a shower.The "rain spray" pattern is ok, but a very light spray. The "jet spray" is pretty strong and concentrated - it's not very comfortable for me. The "Active Massage" spray is extremely strong and pulses - I would never use it. I would prefer having something in between the "rain spray" and the "jet spray".

This is the coolest showerhead I have ever owned in my life. Not only is the design. Very pleasing to the eye and aesthetically. Nice it’s a powerful showerhead. I have great water pressure so that just adds to the enjoyment of this. It’s got three different shower mode, but the best part is the rain shower. It’s very durable, and it truly is drip free upon turning the water off.

We got this and a delta and the delta is far cheaper and better
