I’m very pleased so far with the quality build of this rod. I am comparing two other rods with this one and this is the one I’ll be keeping. I bought the 6’6” MF Cork one. Pros- Overall build quality is better than other rods of the price range. The reel seat is without question better than others tested. The hard case alone is worth the purchase. Cons- I really wish the cork was full length and not segmented. This would definitely make the rod more comfortable and a higher quality. I’d spend a little more money on it if it did. Other notes: I will be using 15lb braid with leader and my reel is a Penn Spinfisher VI 4500 GLS. I still need to field test it this week in Belize saltwater for reef fish so this review may get updated.

Well I just snapped it in half which. Has never happened to be b4. I fish pretty much all day everyday and this has never been an issue with any other rod I own. It snapped dead center on the 3rd piece from the bottom.
