Quinoderm Face Wash 150ml

I bought this due to all of the fantastic reviews I read and having mild acne I wanted something that would control it and prevent future flare ups.I never used anything to clean my face with in the past, just got in the shower and used warm water to open up the pores on my face and neck, then rinsed it off with cold at the end to close them back up. I always had mild acne mainly on my neck, odd spot on chin and odd spot on nose.In the last month I have washed my hands with antibacterial hand wash, shaved my face, then used Quinoderm Face Wash afterwards on my face and neck, then re washed my hands again to get the stuff off my hands. A little bit goes a long way with Quinoderm!So I repeated that method everyday for the past month and low and behold I have no acne or nothing noticeable in any type of lighting. Previously my neck was quite red and my cheeks felt itchy all the time. But due to the brilliance of this Face Wash, it has over 90% of the time eradicated my problems :-).I do still get the odd spot here and there, but they are only small ones and no one ever notices or tells me about them like in they did in the past :-).I do have very, very sensitive skin, so I use an electric shaver to go for the 2-3 days unshaven/stubble look and my skin has never been better. All thanks to the little wonder that is Quinoderm.I recommend this product to everyone male/female with mild to moderate acne. It has helped the skin on my face and neck 90% + of the time. I am someone who has had acne for around 7 years. Tried Benzoyl Peroxide cream (hated it and it caused lasting hyperpigmentation), antibiotics (good for keeping acne at bay but not really a solution - had enough of taking them). I usually use tea tree oil for when acne comes up. This face wash was good at keeping skin feeling clean, and the first couple of times I used it it did cause my skin to break out but any good cleanser will do that as it is drawing all of the rubbish out of your skin. It was slightly drying but that was good for drying up existing spots. It wasn't harsh like the various acne creams available. A real shame that it has been discontinued - I can't find it anywhere!

I am currently undergoing laser hair removal on my face. I find the treatment most painful in the areas that I usually used to break out which is mostly chin and sometimes my upper lip. The treatment has seemed to anger my chin tremendously and at first I ignored them - my usual protocol, but after a few weeks it was clear that they were not going to go down on their own. Once one spot went away another would come. So, I brought another product on amazon called Oxy10 which helped a great deal even though a few new spots did emerge and are still now but at a much slower pace.Onto the face wash:The face wash has helped a great deal though, I find that I no longer need to use oxy10 as frequently because the spots are growing smaller. It is a very gentle wash, it does not irritate my spots and my skin feels nice and soft after. I would definitely recommend this because it has worked, my skin has improved significantly in just 3 days. Forget buying a more expensive brand, this face wash is all you need.

I had used the cream some years back and ended up with bleached pillow cases. Trust me not to read the small print.When i saw this I thought i would give it ago as the cream did work the last time I had used it.As some people have to mentioned here my acne (45 yr old) got worse.It does dry out the skin.I have psoriasis and it is gentlish, but my nose area needs some moisturiser aftewards to calm it down.Not sure if i will reorder due to current breakout.I suspect some people it works with some it doesnt.With my recent breakout i did use the cream and it healed very quickly, but again be extremely careful if you have psoriasis or ezcema as it will give you a flare up. For short term gain i put up with the flare.

It was okay but it dried out my face a little and made it a bit sore. But it did helps my skin clear up.

Ever since coming off the contraceptive pill I have had nothing but break outs. Which probably bothered me much more because up until that point I had had perfect skin and loads of compliments on how lovely it was. I now get plenty of small ones dotted everywhere and often get huge boil like mounds that are impossible to squeeze or hide and make my whole face ache. Once they do go I'm left with horrible red pigmentation. My pores have opened up so much that dirt and make-up constantly get's trapped in them. I've used all the normal off the shelf washes and creams but nothing seemed to work so I looked online and thought maybe if I read some reviews I would find something that has a better chance of working. And I can confirm that yes it does. It's not too harsh on my skin and doesn't dry mine out (I have very oily skin) and I don't wear moisturiser either any more as I've learnt that if you're a acne sufferer with very oily skin then you don't need to use it. I've also brought some benzoyl peroxide cream to accompany the wash and that's working well too. I would much rather have dry skin then a spotty red mess I know that much. I would recommend this wash for sure. Brilliant value for money.
