Q: do these fit somewhat similar to skinny pants?

Nope.. but fitted, Not to tight like skinny jeans or pants. I still have room to stretch and bend. It’s a flex pant so when on the move it moves not stiff.

Q: Compared to the original 874 pants, are they more stretchy(giving)? I'm looking for Dickies cut like the originals & more flexible around quads.

They have more give, but not too much. They're not as stretchy as skate pants. Still roomy enough to squat comfortably.

Q: What's the difference between this and dickies 830F? Seems like they are both flex, slim tapered, but only difference is this one has a leg pocket.

Hi, The WP830 style is 8.75 oz. Ring Spun Twill, 65% Polyester/35% Cotton (Flex = mechanical stretch). The 873F style is 8.2 oz. Mechanical Stretch Twill, 65% Polyester/35% Cotton. Both of the styles are Slim Fit Tapered. Thank you for contacting Dickies.

I wear a 34 waist in dickies and the 34 in these fit perfectly.
