It's a great length. I love that you can sinch the waist or wear it more loose. The fabric is easy to spot clean and the hood is so clever. you can roll in the fur towards your face for extra warmth or flip it out to show. I've gotten so many compliments on it. Almost every time I wear it someone asks me where its from.

TRUTH! I am 65 yrs young, 5'7" tall, weigh between 117 and 122 all my life. I am slender, 40" chest, long legs with shoulders of a line backer and arms like ET. After a few years of searching for THE PERFECT FITTING, VERY WARM VEGAN COAT, I have found it!! It does arrive both quickly and disastrously wrinkled. Big deal - use some water in a spray bottle, toss it into dryer on fluff dry and VOILA! The weight of this coat is very misleading. Very lightweight. The exterior feels like microfiber, and the interior is as soft and warm as your Mama's womb! Front pockets are nice and deep sleeves and length are more than perfect.. they do not skimp on fabric here. I bought a size 10 black coat. I always buy larger than what I should wear because 1. I LIKE LENGTH. 2. As I said, My arms and shoulders for my size are not normal! The 10 fit PERFECT in every way. I crossed my arms and grabbed each shoulder.. (true test of fit on shoulders and arm length) no problems at all. Sleeves, in the position STILL completely covered my entire wrists with a little to spare! Shoulder space.. perfect as well! The coat hangs very nicely. Worth substantially more than the price!Being one of those people though, that always has the "I wonder if" running across the back of my brain like a ticker tape, simply because the same size, same brand of anything on this planet does not guarantee it will fit me the same as the identical one I just took off, I ordered a size 12 in green. They are the same identical coat, including the wrinkles, except for the color. It fits me exactly as the next size up should. A longer length in both sleeves and bottom hem, appropriately more room in the shoulders and elsewhere. I am keeping both coats. The black because it does give a very comfortable yet more "fitted look, and the green one for when I decide to runaway from home without a suitcase.. a few extra layers of clothing, and still be looking good! Amazon and I have had a Love/Hate relationship for years, I order so much from them, my mail carriers hate me until they get their Holiday cash, but I can honestly say, this is without a doubt, one of the very best products they carry. I wholeheartedly recommend this coat to EVERYONE. Just for reference, I have owned coats from the North Face, Land's End, Columbia, as well as military Parkas from the US and Other countries. My favorite for warmth has always, bar none, been the military jackets with the removable hood and liner.. toasty.. but also a Man's size large.. perfect for mending fences, building sheds for the ferals, shoveling snow.. what have you, because all my tools and gloves fit in the pockets!.. other than going out in public! These coats are just as good as that but much better looking and fitting. If you are even REMOTELY CONSIDERING THIS COAT.. just order it now. If the size is wrong, simply exchange it. You won't be sorry.

I purchased the "new" style (no patch) black coat in a 14 (I normally wear a 12 but I wanted to be able to layer underneath.)I'm not accustomed to cold, so when I found myself in temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees outside and I'm very pleased to report that when I wear this coat with a sweater underneath, I stay surprisingly warm and toasty! In fact, when my daughter-in-law misplaced her coat, I immediately ordered another one for her and she's really happy with it, too!The outside is a "microfiber"-type fabric, which, if you've ever slept under "microfiber" sheets, you know is surprisingly warm, especially for how light and thin they are. And it's also a quick-dry fabric.The sleeves are lined with quilted fabric and the rest of the coat is lined with soft, teddy bear-like furry fabric. The hood is kinda over-sized and really effective in keeping my head and even face warm.I LOVE the cuff sleeves! They're snug but not too tight and they seem very resistant to stretching out.I saw some negative reviews that said this coat wouldn't withstand below-zero type temperatures and that may be correct. But the coat isn't PRICED like a coat rated for Arctic conditions, either! If you only have $40 and you need a coat rated for -20 degrees, try a second-hand store.The only thing I'd change is that I'd add more snaps down the front (there are 2-3)I rely on reviews to help me decide which products to buy, so I try to "return the favor."
