I was quoted $176 JUST for diagnosis when I told the repair man the issue. Absolutely not sir. He then went on about how difficult getting parts was. (Bro, have you heard of Amazon?) Anyway, here’s the recipe.The good:Idk what everyone else is yapping about. It is exactly what you’re getting. A replacement screen. There’s no tools, instructions, nada. Please do not expect that. It feels very much like the old screen with the plastic and glass so all good there. The way it was bubble wrapped also made me feel very secure and that they care for this product.The bad:Honestly, not too bad. Keep in mind, it is just the screen so you need to save the button from the one you are replacing. The camera components are internal as well so if that needs replacing, you need to look elsewhere.The ugly:The install is god-awful but what do you expect? It is an electronic device with intricate parts. I did a YouTube search and went with “Screen replacement on the iPod 6th gen” by Thunderbye Tronics. He explained each step very clearly and was easy to understand.Got a cell phone repair kit from Home Depot for about $10 so we’re looking at $45ish bucks for good as new iPod. Overall, this is a good product and will update if my screen goes out. Hope this helps. K, bye! ♡

The media could not be loaded. Thank you my iPod touch from 2022 is finally been restored :) part worked perfectly for my broken iPod and its brand new now - minus the dings and scratches from the outer shell it’s perfect :)

The ipod is very difficult to work on but screen is an exact replacement.

This was my first time tying to replace a broken screen. Ordered this figuring I could handle it. It was not difficult to follow along and do from the YouTube video. However the 3 connectors to the back of the motherboard are hard to keep connected. After repeated attempts to have all three stay connected, the connector strip on the purchased screen tore (1 completely and the other partially). You have to be patient and delicate with this process which I was but the weight of the screen and the repeated attempts caused it to tear.

The LCD is perfect fit and operational. It can be a challenging to install, but YouTube has videos that can guide you through the process. Hardest part is matching up the small connectors to the back of the PCB board.
