Very easy to understand and gets you started playing the harmonica. This book walks you though starting to play with great tips,and knowledge. I am glad I bought this book and you will be too.

Liked that it was good for beginners

I bought this book and a harmonica for my son. The book teaches technique. My son went from a complete novice to being able to play songs well within 2 hours by studying the book. It explains things such as what happens when you exhale vs inhale while playing, proper ways to hold the harmonica, etc. He’s very motivated to improve. He finds songs on the internet that use the numbers on the harmonica combined with the techniques he’s learned in this book. I highly recommend it.

Nothing to it.

This was a gift to one of our nieces (13 yr old). She loves the book (and the harmonica). She wanted to learn an instrument that was portable> She really enjoys the harmonica and how the book helped her learn to play it so quickly.

This is a self-published pulp book. It is only 40 pages. It is printed on paper the quality of unbleached, recycled newsprint. The grammar is correct, and I will surely learn more about the mouth harp; but the illustrations are no better than a C-. There is ONE photograph. The rest of the illustrations are hand drawn at about the skill of a high school freshman Art class. And for $6.95, it just ain't worth it. I been had, and I feel like a dimwit.

Some links to harmonica music would be helpful.The book is clear and easy to understand.I like the chord chart included.Also the importance of tonguing.I would recommend this book for a complete beginner.The intermediate player is already doing these things.

Bought for our grandson, he just loves it !! Price was right too.
