The media could not be loaded.  Now I understand why my previous wire strippers seem to fall apart – they were rubbish. I’ve finally got a decent set and the difference is massive. These are strong; very heavy duty. They are effortless at cutting wire of various thicknesses. The description said bolt cutter and if that’s correct it’s no wonder that they are effortless. I haven’t tried the bolt cutter idea and to be honest – I’ll settle for cutting wire with these.Stripping wire is easy and leaves the cut and wire clean. They are not overly heavy considering how solid they are and have a comfortable non slip grip. But be careful as these are very sharp, I guess that’s why they put the lock on which again is solid and won’t come undone on its own.Over all I can’t find fault. Very decent.

These were originally a good set of cable cutters but after a few months have now started shoing shigns of rusting. Not sure if they have been constructed with the greatest quality of materials.Hope this helps.

I am very impressed by the quality of these cutters, cuts and strips very well. Very sharp with a good milled surface. Looks like it will remain sharp for a while. I've been using them to cut 2mm steel cables as well as electrical wire.

Complete rubbish. Bought for the purpose of cutting gear cables to size when working on my mountain bikes. It doesn't cut through gear cable however. Just chews it up or it actually gets wedged between the two 'blades' when they're fully closed! Knew I should have spent a few pounds more! Annoyed and disappointed.

Bought these to cut down some new cabinet knob screws inside the drawers but they would not do that job. They are just wire cutters (despite what some other reviews said). Repurchased actual bolt cutters which worked a treat.
