I use these for cutting cycle cables, both inners and outers and they work beautifully, it is like cutting though butter with no fraying on the cable ends.They also have the perfect back end for putting on and crimping cable end caps.As they are Knipex i expect these to outlast the sun, i have had them for a year used them many times, on loads of bikes and they haven't shown any signs of letting down the Knipex brand at all!

Used these at work to cut damaged safety cables really well made and worth every penny.

Great Knipex quality. Clean cutting, useful latch to keep the tool shut for storage (and protect those lovely blades). Totally recommended. Not cheap, though.

Cuts bike cable and housing cleanly and quickly (housing needs a little cleanup) - tried a cheap set of sidecutters for comparison and they made a total hash of it.I actually went looking for stuff to cut to see what could stop them, though don't remember what I actually found.
