another great book from Bob Ross very quick delivery this is the second one i have from his collection lovely colored paintings and step by step instructions how to do . shame the step by step instructions are in black and white but still a great book love the bob Ross painting way

This is not a book for the beginner as there is far to little basic insight to the wet on wet, brush and knife techniques utlised by the Bob Ross system. The black and white photos also really don't convey much and would have been so much better and far more helpful in colour. It is still a worth memorial to a man who had brought art and painting to so many

For sometime now I have been enjoying all the repeats of his many shows and this book which recreates 60 of his best known paintings is the icing on the cake.

The book is pretty good.

Book is very enjoyable. Has excellent reproductions of Bob Ross art as well as step by step drawing instructions. I will say that if you are buying this book to learn how to draw Bob Ross style, I would recommend the PBS DVDs, as they are more supportive and you can rewind bits and pieces that you need to see again. I did some research on the author of the book and it was a happy surprise that there are 30 such books that follow 11 years of the "Joy of Painting" show. This book is a great gift for a Ross lover and for a collector.

It was a pleasure listening to Bob Ross and it was a joy reading this book. My wife does not paint anymore but at least she gave it a good chance. This book made the process fun!
