So, I purchased a smaller gen for my travel trailer that could not run the microwave very long. This monster does it with ease. I did the 30 min break in and then changed oil, good idea with any Equpment. I run it on a propane 20 lb. bottle, in the back of a pickup. Cleaner and safer. very quiet. can run the microwave, ac unit and air fryer at the same time and never revved up, which means it came off eco mode. so, it was no challenge for it. With that said, I plan to use this in a larger rv in the future and expect it to do well. electric start also a nice feature.

This is a great generator for amount of power it delivers and how quite it is. Definitely recommend. Fast delivery, easy to get it started, no issues. The instructions can be better, but was able to figure it out myself. The batteries had to be pulled up to plug them in first time, the screws for the panel had to be undone first (wish it would just snap on and off), and the oil was hidden on the middle somewhere (inconvenient). Otherwise, as provided size & weight are manageable, quiet, compared to its alternatives. Best of all, has 50A plug I needed.

Had high hopes for off grid set up. Nice looking unit, reasonable size for 8000w. I found it to be a very loud over all... definitely not "super quiet". Can't imagine it being much louder really (much, much louder than a truck engine idling.) Unfortunately, right out of the box the unit stalled over and over when running on propane. After 5-6 seconds yellow light would flash, then stall. Spent considerable time troubleshooting without resolve. Company support offers: 1. Check if the carburetor stepper motor is stuck. 2. Check if the inverter wiring harness has any loose or disconnected push pins. 3. If none of the above are the problem, the inverter needs to be replaced. When I reviewed possible issues (as best I could with no further instruction!) I found some wires loose on back of control board. I replaced the missing nut securing the wires but the unit still malfunctioned. I occasionally got a whiff of propane coming from inside the unit as well. Appears quality control could be a problem based on the issues. I'll be returning it and shifting to another brand altogether based on my overall experience. (IT ACTUALLY CAN NOT BE RETURNED!)

I’ve had a few generators. They die, lack of oil, they wear out. This one is a goodie! The hour meter means no excuse for no oil changes! I use it to power my off grid battery charger, and it works very well running a 30 amp charger. This is a great size for me, a 2000 watt Honda is expensive, and bigger and heavier. I gotta be honest, this is a feature packed little generator. My favorite genny, after 20 years of using them. Paid 325.00 or so. Super value! Crazy good!

To start off I bought this generator to run my food truck. This is overkill for most food trucks. My food truck is a full-blown kitchen. I have a 32 ft.³refrigerator freezer, a cold prep table, two warming bins, a water heater, a 24,000 BTU heating air-conditioning unit. This generator runs all that flawlessly. It does require 89 octane gas to run quietly. I would not recommend running 87. But when I say quietly, it runs as quiet as my Honda generators which are only 4000 W. It turns out that the inverter had a female receptacle that was buried in the resin. I don’t know how they ever fit the male into that part., Which leads me to wonder how they tested it before it went out the door. The other issue I had is I had to wait on my truck after I had ordered the generator. So it was two months before I fired it up and got it running. Amazon initially told me they would not leave me hanging, and unfortunately, whenever it was slow communication in the beginning in the end Amazon told me there was nothing they could do. I was out $2300. AI volt stepped up and sent me the inverter, this fixed the problem. The problem is, I couldn’t install it and I had to wait in line behind the electrician who is fixing it for me to get to it. It ended up costing me about $350 to get it fixed but AI volt reimbursed my credit card through Amazon. They were quick to respond, and they did fix the problem. And the only reason I’m giving them four stars is because I don’t think that it was tested before it went out the door. Other than that, it runs quietly. It does a great job. And it actually could run the average home. It has a built-in surge protector. My advice start it up and make sure it works for at least 10 hours before your 30 days is up or Amazon is not gonna help you out.That being said, AI Volt did stand behind their warranty. They were quick to respond, unfortunately in America it’s hard to find somebody to work on a generator because you have to be a small engine repair person and an electrician.
