Q: What happens if the desiccant is dried at over 250c? if i have a precise and well controlled oven can it go higher (like 315c)?

heating them over the recommended temp will probably not damage them. however heating them to recharge them leaves a smell like burnt metal and mildew. I would not recommend drying it in your kitchen oven. I did and it took several days for that smell to dissipate. I moved a little toaster oven outside my house and I recharge the desiccant in small batches. very effective.
