Barricade [DVD]

I liked this film. I thought it had great tension, scary bits and things to work out (as you're not quite sure what's going on). What was supposed to be a fun time for a father and his kids whilst staying in a cabin in the woods turns into a nightmare. I could think of better places to be and wont be booking a holiday there!

The moral of the story is Don't mix Clonazepam, alcohol,stress & fever after the loss of your wife!!This film is OK, nothing more or nothing less..... an 'ok' way to spend 1 hr 15 minutes if you can not find another film to watch... not exactly what I would call a horror film though!!

Good film, strange in places but made sense at the end.

***Possible spoilers***.This film was dire. I've never been so bored. I kept watching, hoping it would get better but it never did.I like Eric in Travelers, I can't remember if I've seen him anywhere else, but I wasn't impressed with this at all.Bad plot, bad acting - especially the kids, poor effects. Bad from start to finish. It's not on the slightest bit creepy or scary. It's so poor, like the ending when he thinks his kids are dead despite the fact they're very clearly breathing. Why say you understand that they were delirious with fever but then say 'he'll get what's coming to him', then nothing happens?! Bizarre film.Save your money and time.
