Bird party time!
I had bought some some hanging logs for fat mix at a craft market but found it a messy and time consuming job refilling. These suet logs are just perfect for the job, making it a second's work to slip the log into the gap. Not only that but the birds just flock round the logs! They just love the mixture! We're seeing all the usual tits plus droves of siskins, a pair of goldfinches and even the occasional greenfinch.I think if there was any way of improving the product I would suggest the logs were an inch or so shorter, as they project beyond the logs and I am concerned the ends could break off and bits fall to the ground for my puppy to consume. Naturally they need to be put out of direct sun in the Summer so they do not melt.

Great value bird food.
So far so good, a popular food which is very good value. There's really no limit to the amount of food the birds will eat and if I feed them, say, mealworms and chopped peanuts a lot, the cost gets alarming. These 'logs' are easy to 'ration', are nutritious, and of interest to many species. Alongside the Robin seed mix https://www.amazon.co.uk/Extra-Select-Robin-Songbird-12-75/dp/B007QD0J96/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1464889097&sr=8-3&keywords=robin+seed , all are catered for.

The birds love them.
Local national chain garden centre had no stock for several months so bought these. They are slightly smaller than the holes in the feeder and needs cocktail sticks inserted to hold them in place but the birds love them and I have just ordered another 36 9 weeks later.

Very good value
Nothing to dislike, the birds love them. I’ve cut them in half, because the large birds perch and break them off. I’m using them in small tree holder

Poor quality
Bought these to fill our garden feeders because the long tail tits devour them; sadly they didn't devour these and refused to touch them. They were dry and even looked unappetising. I thought they were the thick fat logs unfortunately these are like short sticks and you have to put 5 or 6 in the holder. I tried grating one of them and putting it on the bird table even then that was left untouched. Certainly wouldn't recommend these at all. They went in the recycling bin.

A table for how many?
I am very pleased with this item ,a review I read mentioned they last a bit longer than the suet blocks this is true and the birds appear to enjoy them ,I can put 3 in my suet block holder and the holder does not get so messy ,the service was very quick and due to the shape of the items much easier to store ,so over all highly recommended.

GREAT VALUE
Excellent product and price. Our birds love it and choose these logs first - in preference to bird seed and suet balls. Very little mess and great value.Highly recommended by our birds.
