Linseed? That stuff is for cricket bats isn't it?
I have linseeds in my porridge, flap-jacks or Museli. Their taste is not overly obvious in such foods. Not only do they help keep the bodies digestive system going as we have all no doubt heard but:A 1 ounce (3 tbsp) serving of flaxseeds contains:Omega-3 (ALA) 6,338mgFiber 8gProtein 6gVitamin B1 31% RDAManganese 35% RDAMagnesium 30% RDAPhosphorus 19% RDASelenium 10% RDAAlso, flaxseeds contain a good amount of vitamin B6, Iron, potassium, copper and zinc. Thanks to Dr. Axe.comI encouraged a friend of mine to have some flaxseeds for breakfast. Later he had to go to the Doc because of his lowered blood pressure (he has a heart problem I need to point out) and was told to stop taking flaxseed as (In his case) it was lowering his pressure too much. Now if flaxseed can lower high blood pressure - that must be a bonus for all of us who have 'healthy hearts.'Flaxseeds is one of those foods we used to eat more of donkey's years ago - but eat none of now. All these healthy foodstuffs were eaten for a reason and we have moved away from them into food stuffs with poor nutritional content.I forgot to mention that Linseeds also contain 'micro-nutrients.' These types of nutrients are essential for the body even though we don't need lots of them. The modern diet and modern methods of growing food seems to contain less and less of these nutrients and we wonder why we as a race are more apt to be ill, even though we have advances in medicines. These Linseeds are great, full of flavour and a good price as well as being good quality. HOWEVER - the seeds will pass through the body unless the seeds are broken. So I whizz them for a few seconds on a blender so my digestive system can get hold of every bit of goodness. Also, do it in small batches. They can lose vitality if just blended and left somewhere. I put mine in a fridge to slow down that process too.Hope this info helps.I know this is supposed to be a review of the product - but I wanted this info on how good they are for us to get out there :-)

Brilliant Product that actually works
Brilliant Product that actually works; it promotes bowel movement by increasing the water content and bulk volume of our stools. If you are unlucky enough to have a kinky colon this is the solution.

Very good value.
I do all my own baking because I’m on a grain free diet. I grind the item and mix with almond flour. I use this as my basic flour mix. Good product and very good value.

The package arrived open
We are still finding flax seeds everywhere. When I pulled the bag out of the box, I wasn't expecting it to be open.
