Fit for purpose
So the GymPad, what can I say about it that you don't already know?Pros:- nice size, I found the mini (A6-ish) too small when I got one as a gift a year or so ago so I've been using the A5 size for some time now.-nice layout and well designed, each 'exercise' section has rows for up to 6 reps, as I only tend to do 3 reps of various intensity and weights for each exercise I split these in half as I do more than the 6 'exercise sections' allow, so instead of having 6 exercise sections I have 12. It stops me from wasting the next workout spread with only three exercises and stops me from burning through them too quickly.-the weight/measurement tracking pages throughout the book really help to see how you progress and the slots for before and after pictures really help you to see how far you've come. I'm forever looking in the mirror and not seeing a difference but when I look through my old gympads I can see the difference in my appearence.Cons: (these are for the most recent one that I ordered, I'm usually gifted one for my birthday/christmas but I ran out of space in my one from christmas so ordered another as my birthday hasn't come yet, the cons listed reflect the state of the current gympad 07/2017)- The paper is too glossy. Now this might seem like an unusual complaint but hear me out. In my christmas gympad the paper was a nice thick matt paper and I had no issued with smudged ink or the like but with the new glossy paper I've found all my pens smudge, papermate rollerball gels, bic biro stickpens, all fluid inkbased pens smear straight off the bat. The only utensil I've found to work is a pencil, however I find that unless you press hard into the paper the pencil doesn't show very well or smudges as well, just not as bad as the pens.- the wire-o binding: not sure if this is just an issue with my gympad or if this has become a common feature but my book does lie flat, fold over correctly and even when I close it the back cover sticks out nearly half a centimeter. It seems like there's too much on the wire binding, as in there's too much paper for the wire binding to hold comfortably, either that or it was bound incorrectly. In short, the gympad is a useful tool for tracking your workouts and fitness progress but quality control seems to be letting it down. Again this could just be a case of me recieving a faulty product as previous gympads I've been given have been great quality and I had no issues with.

Number 1 Training Partner
I recently started working out, main goal to build muscle. Wanted a journal to keep track of my progress. After deciding to choose gympad I have not been disappointed.Provides you with a set up to easily log your training progress, easy to follow and provides you with information to help achieve your goals.Really impressed with how it helps you understand the smaller details like nutrition tips, and how setting your goal is important and how it provides you to do it correctly.A added bonus is the tips it provides on exercises on each chart and the motivational quotes. My personal favourite ' Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today'For a journal I am very impressed. I liked it that much I bought a second. Worth the money. And I never leave for the gym without it.Would like to see if they could perhaps do a journal on nutrition and how to keep a track of your meal planning?

Useful gym tracker
Great notepad and motivational tool - sections for every part of your workout. Very detailed and gives examples of how to note down different workouts such as supersets and giant sets.It has some great tools and charts for tracking your gains and how your body is changing and tables for how to work out your one rep maxDownside would be that it's a little big to take to the gym with you if you don't take a gym bag but the benefits out way that.Looking forward to getting to the end of it and seeing how much I've changed

More than just a journal
Absolutely love this! Gorgeous quality and a really well thought out journal. Loads of great hints, tips, quotes and info to make you feel motivated throughout your training plan. Great visual way to see how well you are doing and to encourage yourself further. I bought one for my hubby so he can use it at the gym but he says he will use it at home as well to count sit up, squat reps etc. I also showed it to a personal trainer friend of mine who thought it was brilliant, so definitely suitable for everyone. Fast delivery and well packaged. Would happily recommend this GymPad.

Too expensive now
I've been using this for the last couple of years as it's really good to write on and space the workouts on. Another reason is that once you have bought the first one you get 10% off all subsequent ones. I notice that it has now gone up to nearly Β£16.00 and I'm afraid that even with the 10% off it's too expensive. Just a quick update, the version with the pink cover is still only Β£10 (when it's folded to the page you are using no one will see the cover).

No excuse for lacking 'Workout' details now!
Arrived a day earlier than expected, very well packaged and a great book for the gym as well. Workout pages and tips are excellent plus nutrition information, fitness tests and training modalities. The calendar although for 2016 is handy even though it will only last me 4 months. It gives information on a 1RM Table, which I was unaware of. I am very pleased with this book, the delivery, packaging and above all, the expertise shown in presentation and business acumen by the company in presenting this product.

Great product, Very well made
I was worried at first! But itβs worth it!I was worried at first as the price is higher than any other books, but it makes up for it in huge amounts, I was always having to buy new diaries as they were getting tatty and ripped so It was just becoming expensive, yes this is a little more expensive but the quality is superb! I tested the covers too, they really are water resistant!
