CORE STRENGTH AND STABILITY TRAINER for lower back pain relief+ 12 Video Training

I use this product for back strengthening exercises. What I like most is the gauge which measures effective performance.

I used one of there at physical therapy for a sore shoulder and again to strengthen my core. It works very well when used properly, BUT, similar to isometric exercises, it will take a while to experience results. There is a sleeve to make this usable on the neck as well. This works best on a solid surface, carpet, or a PT table, and only on a bed or pillow as a last resort. Well worth the money. I would recommend this item to my acquaintances that I think would actually use it.

Great devices, easy to use and is helping greatly with strengthening my core and subsequent back issues.

At my age of 75, I've had chronic lower back pain for years. I've had many PT sessions, X-rays and MRIs. At a recent PT session, the therapist brought in one of these (not this brand, but another) to monitor the effectiveness of my lower back placement when doing the exercises. I loved the instant and visual feedback it provided. I went on line and purchased this model rather than the other model at about $5 more, mainly due to the large and easy to read markings on the dial. Easy to see when not wearing my glasses -- which is most times's I'm doing my home exercises. It worked fantastic! I wish I had this device years ago. This morning I worked harder, and obviously more accurately, when I used this device. I could immediately see when my core muscles would start to "fade" and I could make instant corrections. Correct placement of the bladder is critical. Place it directly under your belly button (when lying on your back) or the small of your back. Pump up the bulb until you get the needle to the lower blue mark and then do your workouts. Try to hold the needle at the upper blue mark. I found myself working harder with this device than ever before. It is great. One caveat -- the bladder slowly leaks but a few squeezes of the bulb brings the needle back up to where it should be. No big issue. I love it!

I wanted to give this 5 stars because it's helped me so much with pelvic floor exercises, but the one negative thing I have to say about it is when assembling it, the tube doesn't always stay in place and it allows air to leak out. I have a certain way I fix that issue but it's always hit or miss and I have to keep wiggling and twisting it to catch in the right place. Other than that, I feel it realigns my hips and has helped tremendously with my sciatica. I do still highly recommend this product and feel it's worth the money. It even comes with an app to show you different exercises to use
