Any negative reviews likely haven't had this before. It is oily and tastes of Sichuan peppercorn, which is what latiao is supposed to taste like. If you like Sichuan hotpot, this is what it tastes like. If you haven’t had it before, I would recommend ordering a sample pack of 3.

I let the videos get the best of me and I ordered these and they are a zero out of 10!!! They taste like plastic packaging if that makes sense Not spicy they’re just horrible!! And you cannot return or get refunded at all!!! They might look good and enticing on them videos, but they are definitely not what you expect

These were full of oil (it squishes out onto your hands and in your mouth). The flavor was ok, and they weren't too spicy but the exorbitant amount of grease is a big turn off. I later learned that these are banned in China from being sold inside of, and within a certain distance of any schools because they are so unhealthy. Will not repurchase.

These types of snacks come in a huge variety of textures. This has a sort of spongy texture, and a slightly sweetish flavor. The spongy texture does make it slightly oily, but I think this is one of the better variations of this snack which I have tried.

I saw this on tiktok and just had to buy! It looked sooo yummy. I got them and tried them and let me tell you. TERRIBLE! it’s NOTHING like you would expect it to taste like. Save your money.
