Using this for my cutting board and wooden utensils. Don't use anything else as it could turn rancid. This won't go rancid. And this is made for food contact. This is a big bottle, an excellent value, far better than some of the others I looked at. The oil is clear, appears clean. Does not have an odor. Easy to apply. Use a small rag piece so it doesn't soak up all your oil. It wass effective- made my board and wooden utensils look nice. Brought out the colors, darkened the dark parts of the grain. Sweeeeeeet! Recommend.

I dislike NOTHING about this oil! Why didn’t I protect my cutting boards years ago! This board is 50 years old. It was about $60 even years ago! A very high quality board. I purchased it years ago because it has feet on it and since I’m tall I love the extra height it gives me which helps with back strain. I made a huge mistake of forgetting to dry it after wiping it clean with water and after so many years the wood pieces fell apart—completely. I WAS DEVASTATED! My friend is a woodworker and he offered to repair it. When he returned it, it was much more beautiful and he told me the reason why—-HE OILED IT WITH FOOD GRADE MINERAL OIL BY US+ (plus). I noticed since my wood was so old at the beginning it really sucked it up. But then, after treating it regularly for the last few months, it takes very little. (Please see photo with bottle on top of board. Left side is treated annd right side is not.) and the price is way less than I expected it to be for the size of bottle. One of my best ever finds on Amazon!

We bought this mineral oil to season and protect our various wood cutting boards and love the shine and finish it leaves on them. Not greasy - just brings out that beautiful color from the natural grains in the wood. Have also used it on our cast iron frying pans and it works great. My son even uses it on his Mizuno baseball glove and catchers mitt with great success. We think you will find many uses for this high quality mineral oil.

I wiped this on my cutting board 2-3 month ago, and it has kept it hydrated. Picture shows the cutting board before I reapply the oil.

Works very well. Maybe too well. Use sparingly! My little guy is no longer constipated.. I used 2 pumps (squirts) on his food over 2 days. Too much apparently. Should have only done 1 day.

Great product, fabulous price and so many uses

I got my husband a BBQ Board for Christmas and realized I was almost out of mineral oil. I found this oil, which is a fantastic price for a quart! He has oiled ALL the wood in the kitchen, including all the knife handles. The picture of the knives is about 6 knives ago-the drawer is much fuller now!

A lot of high quality oil for a very good price! It's great for my cutting boards as well as my good knives. Couldn't be happier!
