Very useful for those of us with hearing loss
Having old age hearing-loss this device is in constant use with a radio, a TV and my mobile phone.I use this with my hearing aids in the 'T' position and a Bluetooth transmitter which takes a signal from my TV or my radio or my mobile phone. Thus when listening to the TV the signal from th TV passes to the Bluetooth transmitter to the CM-BT2, then inductively to my hearing aids set in the 'T' position, and finally as sound to my ears from my hearing aids. (I found that with a long series of TV programs that the CM-BT2 would give a warning signal of the battery becoming discharged. I bought a larger battery (but same technology and voltage ) from RS Components and soldered the old battery connectors to replace those on the new, larger battery which I is now taped to the outside back of the CM-BT2. )

OK but not perfect
As a severely deaf person I found this being somewhat OK but it is not perfect,I used to enjoy listening to music before I lost my hearing and since then I rely on my mobile phone with downloaded music albums.I also pair my mobile with a little mobile phone amplifier with the correct earphones(Bluetooth being the best sound quality)I had seen this device before and was very eager to try it out, so I simply purchased this,it is not as good as using Bluetooth earphones I can tell you,but it isn't that terrible really,I think it is ideal for listening to a mobile phone conversation but as for music it might take some time to get used to in my opinion. It also depends on a person's level of hearing loss.A good idea from the people behind this device but maybe there should be extra bass tone and more volume.

Not as described
It could seem a little unfair to give this just one star over one small point – but for some it may be important and one-stars get looked at!Misleadingly, the description includes “internal microphone”. For all I know, this is literally true! However, despite prodding around extensively and reading the manual I think quite carefully, I can find no way to activate this. Possibly there – just not connected. (This alone seems to me to justify returning the device for a full refund if it is not to your liking for any reasons.) Still waiting for a reply from the manufacturer to my query about this.Otherwise it does what is says on the tin. For listening to music from my phone, using my NHS hearing aid, I judge sound quality to be adequate, not as good as the hearing aid can give using the loop and a loop driver, particularly in noisy environments where you need to turn the volume up. Acceptable – just.Haven’t had it long enough to speak of battery life – important as it won’t work while being charged (e.g. from a portable power bank) and the stated 3 hour run-time on loop is not a promise but depends on volume level.

Works well and simple to use.
This is really good. I suffer badly with tinnitus and I have been looking for an efficient way to counteract the tinnitus with some background "distraction sound".It connects easily to my phone and I play the " distraction sound" continuously, or if I prefer some of my 60s music collection. My hearing aids have a loop setting that also has an external "mic" setting, so I can play the background sound and still have a normal conversation. No wires....phone in pocket.....CM-BT2 tucked under shirt.....brilliant.Battery life is good....if I am just using it as described, the battery lasts for about 6 hours.....or give it a little charging boost at lunchtime and it lasts all day.

Great bluetooth device for slight hearing loss.
What a product. Being hard of hearing myself I needed to something like this cause I kept missing phone calls from my mobile, specially when in a noisy environment. An example of my hearing is basically without hearing aids I struggle to hear speech such as consonants and anything below 40 decibels well I just won't hear. This has a great amplifier on it and have found it help for me to do my job. Giving me greater confidence of being able to hear when using a mobile. If you have a similar sort of hearing condition as me I should imagine you will like this. However if you have a severe hearing loss it may be worth seeing if you can try it before buying.

Really useful piece of kit for hard of hearing
This is easy to set up and use. It helps me to use my mobile phone hands free and as it feeds the signal directly into my hearing aid the sound is really clear. The first one dispatched went missing and I never received that, but Humantecnik immediately dispatched another one that did arrive. If there was one thing I could change it would be that the blue light did not constantly shine. I sometimes feel like Ironman with a light shining out of my chest.

Connects to the bluetooth device but will not produce any sound at all
I was hoping this would be the answer for my Mum to be able to hear conversation on her mobile phone as she is going deaf and needs a hearing aid. Unfortunately it was a big fail. The unit syncs perfectly with the mobile phone via bluetooth but the induction cord doesn't seem to work with my Mums hearing aid at all. The hearing aid definitely works as she uses it for the TV through a similar induction loop device so the fault has to be with the neck loop, whether it be compatibility or just a plain fault. So back to the drawing board, so disappointing!
