LimbO Waterproof Protectors Cast and Dressing Cover - Adult Half Arm (M67: 30-40 cm Above Elbow Circ.)

This is a very good product. I broke my wrist and purchased so I was able to shower. It's easy to put on and get back off. Fitted well and definitely keeps the water out. I'm not sure the product could be improved. It does exactly what it is supposed to do!

Really good for showering and keeping a plaster cast dry . Haven’t tried in the bath but would expect it to be just as good . Very pleased with the quality and have used it a number of times now .

Roughly, I'm not accredited for it but I used this for about a month without an issue, held up well and wasn't terrible to put on and off, even had a little functionality while showering.Putting on is easy, slide the cast and your arm into the bag through the seal and once your hand almost touches the end you give it a little tug to secure the seal. Removing is fairly simple too and easily done one handed, simply turn the elastic seal inside out and it nullifies the grip, making it easy to slide right off. Very easy to use and seals well for the period you have your cast on.The material that goes over the arm is a thick plastic a bit like a shower curtain and still offers a little grip through the plastic and the seal is made of a rubber with a light silky fabric coating it, allowing flexibility and comfort.Ngl I tried applying shower wash directly to the cover in attempt to wash a bit easier and it kinda just ran off the cover, proving it's capability, despite my waste of soap.

Keeps shower water out But I have to take care in the hot tub. I usually rest my arm on the side as a little water seeps in if I rest it on the water.

What an amazing product! after breaking my arm a week ago I started to panic about showers. I’m naturally a very clean person and shuddered to think about 6 weeks of strip washes but Limbo fixed everything. The hardest part was working out what size I needed as it’s based on weight, height and arm circumference but I had sorted it after a few minutes of googling. It’s very simple to use with clear instructions. I need another pair of hands when I take it off but I could manage alone. Overall it’s an amazing product that works really well. Highly recommend

Conocí el producto cuando tuve una pierna escayolada y ahora con la funda para el brazo, confirmo que es excelente.Las duchas tienen un antes y un después de conocer este producto (en una cirugía anterior, cubría la venda con plástico y esparadrapo para ducharme, haciendo el proceso engorroso, largo y poco eficiente).Lo importante es medir bien el ancho de la extremidad, porque tienen diferentes tamaños.Lo recomiendo a ojo cerrado!

I bought this Cast protector before our family trip to Tahoe, April 2017. Highly recommend this product, High quality material and my son(13 y.o) used it while swimming in a 80 degree(outdoor heated pool) and 100 degree hot tub, without any problem at all. The arm grip is so good that the cast was protected well, was so worried when I saw my son submerge his arm and swim with it, but was relieved when I examined his arm that remained dry. Once it's in placed do not lift the lip of the arm grip to creat like a vacuum sealed to it. When you choose the right size, choose the right weight.

Initial attemptI had a thick wrap around my injury and this sleeve did not comfortably fit over it. By comfortably, I mean that with my one good hand, I was not able to tug the opening over the thick wrap without causing pain to my injury (or dislodging the wrap.) So, I went with the old garbage bag covering my arm, taped at the top.Second attemptAfter a week, I removed the thick outer wrap and was left with only a small bandage that I still had to protect from getting wet. So back to this sleeve- it works like a charm. I had no trouble getting it on and the seal worked well at keeping water out. . . I have only used it once, so I can not say how it stands up to repeated wear, but I'm optimistic. I hung it upside down to dry, as per the directions, and will update if any problems arise.CaveatsIf you have very long arms and you need coverage on your elbow or above, I would check the actual length of the sleeve and measure your arm to make sure this will work for you. For thin bandages that you need to cover, this sleeve is very good. As mentioned earlier, for a very thick wrap, you may not want to get this. Other than that, this is a great buy.

I had to have two separate hand / arm surgeries and although I tried a plastic bag to cover my arm when taking a shower, I wound up purchasing this on the recommendation of my boss.This was perfect. The cover is made of thick plastic like an opaque shower curtain liner with re-enforced netting inside the plastic. The sealing cuff is made of neoprene. The cover is cut on the diagonal so that the finger area is the longest point.I ordered the large size so that I would not have trouble getting this on and off alone. Had I not been on my own, the medium size would have been a better fit. All I had to do is pull the cover over my cast and then pull down on the arm piece to create a watertight seal. The black cuff seals nicely against the skin without being too tight. It remained waterproof throughout all the showers I took for my first operation (approximately 35+ showers). I have no doubt it will perform as well for my second operation.The cover is a bit long and is not for a full arm. I needed it to cover up to my mid-forearm but I had a lot of plastic left over unless I pulled it all the way up to my bicep.In summary, this protector worked beautifully and kept my cast dry. Of course, I could have saved some money and used a plastic bag but this made it easy to protect my medical splint without the hassle of using rubber bands to make a plastic bag water tight. In addition, it is made of quality material that will outlast me. I took two showers per day and it dried pretty quickly if I hung it up after every shower.This was definitely worth the price I paid.
