Sticks well in dry conditions but once wet it will quickly fall apart.

We used this to repair a small tear in a very expensive outdoor patio umbrella. The umbrella is made with a light canvas and we cleaned the area with alcohol, let it dry for a day and then applied the tape to both sides for added strength. It went on easily, but after a week or so it started to come away in a couple of places. Re-sticking it back down seems to work, but the next time you put the umbrella up you have to repeat the process of re-sticking it. The weather here is pretty intense, so this may work better in a more moderate climate. For the price, it is very strong and worth a try!

I used this product on my awning and I am disappointed with the results. It’s not the most expensive thing in the world and it is only a temporary fix for a year till I replace awning, but half the tape I placed on the awning fell off after 1 day. It was super sticker and some places have held great, but others I found lying on the ground the next day. I’m not sure what the deal is and unfortunately it’s to late to return. Be wary and don’t expect to much.

This stuff works great. We had some some small crease tears on our awning near the roller tube. It's invisible for one witch is great. And it works so good it even lasted and held through a hurricane. We have a new awning. And it's been in storage for months. No need to replace it yet. This tape keeps going.

This product has proven to repair the worn out material on the top exposed area near the roof of my RV. It was relatively easy to apply and after two months in the warm and sometimes wet weather of Florida it is holding up nicely. I applied two strips side by side along the full length of the awning on the top and underneath sides. I have rolled up the awning during windy storm conditions and it is holding up well with the flexibility and adherence. I would recommend this tape as a good option to extend my awning usefulness as it gently ages.
