Outstanding customer service.
After a silly error on my part in ordering these LP-E5 batteries instead of the LP-E8's that I require, I rang the offices of Maxsimafoto to explain that I now had the wrong type of battery. The man on the phone was very helpful and informed me that they would send the correct batteries upon the return of the LP-E5's.Couldn't be happier with the customer service. Top bloke.

Works well so far (3 months)
Using this as spare battery for my 500D, works well, have not experienced much of a difference between this one and the original battery from Canon.

Better than expected
Always dubious about pattern batteries, but this is good quality, and so far has proved OK, total of over 80 shots so far, and meter shows only 25% used.

Beware, You may get a dud
Based on the other review of this battery, I bought it as a second option. Initially i was impressed that it worked at all, but upon further usage i found it doesn't hold much of acharge at all.One time i used it after fully charging the night before and as soon as i tunred the camera on it told me the battery was alomst empty. The next i was doing a short timelapse and the battery gave out within an hour (from fully charged) this is well below my original which is itself second hand along with the camera. Nevermind this new battery supposedly being 1600mah in comparison to the 1000mah of the original.Anyhow, just let it be known it's not all roses with this item.Although... amazon customer care kicks ass

A very good product, seems to work as well as the canon one that came with the camera, always useful to have a spare when out and about with no access to a charger.

Ne permet pas d'utiliser un appareil photoLa batterie se charge avec un chargeur Canon et met le voyant au vert. Une fois installée, la batterie allume l’appareil photo qui affiche "Pile faible" et clignote au bout de 5 minutes.Bref, comme le dit le titre, INUTILISABLE !PS: il y a 1 étoile au produit car on ne peut pas mettre 0.C'est extraordinaire d'être obligé de mettre des points à un objet inutilisable...
