Hooray for Declan
Completely smitten by this man, I absolutely adore this series & I almost don’t want to read the next book because it’s the last one. Start at the beginning and fall in love just like I did

Wildcat Worthy💕💕
Another hugely entertaining visit with the Wildcats. I really enjoy a fake marriage and this one has everything going for it.Jade has a massive opportunity within her work to get herself on in the journalism field. She aspires to be successful and write what everyday people want to read. The ‘I Do’ magazine where she works, tasks her with planning and executing her own, perfect, fairytale wedding. Without any real desire to be married she still convinces her boyfriend to become her husband….but is he really that invested?Declan is everyone’s friend on the team. A long term member he loves his teammates and is never happier than when he is helping them or supporting them somehow. They’re his family. He’s always there but never wants the limelight. Quite contented to just be appreciated by those who matter the most to him.He and Jade are lovely together. He appreciates and admires her ambition. He understands what it’s like to only have yourself to rely on. So he offers her his help…what he actually brings her is so much more.I loved how these two went from just being friends of friends to becoming each other’s everything. To get to spend time with the other couples and players was a bonus…the guys together make me chuckle and the girls share just a wonderful bond. There are a few bumps in the road and some tough talking required but I appreciated their fears and worries.A worthy addition to the wildcats series

Easy read.
Jade works for a bridal magazine and is focused so much on her work that she hasnt noticed how her fiancee has withdrawn from their wedding. A week before the wedding he tells her its not happening and she keeps it from everybody as her boss wants this to work. Declan is an athlete who knows he needs to clean up his act now that he has a 7 year contract. When Jade tells him that she longer has a groom he tells her he will marry her. Its crazy but they go ahead and then Declan goes about learning how hard Jade works and he wants her to succeed.

Tension, humour, sweet and a little bit angsty
This was an enjoyable read full of sexual tension, humour, sweetness, and a little bit of angst."If I didn't know better, I'd think your new husband is smitten. The way he looked at you all night is going to sell a lot of magazines."When career-driven Jade finds herself without a groom for what feels like the wedding of her career i.e. her much publicised wedding that she's been documenting for the bridal magazine that she works for, Declan Sato steps into the breach. What's in it for him? He knows what it's like to crave financial security, so he's happy to help Jade out. However, there's no denying the attraction between them, and when Declan keeps showing her how wonderful he is, can Jade trust in what they have considering they started out as a lie?"The way her face lights up steals the breath from my lungs. I'm a total goner for my wife."I absolutely adored Declan! He was a complete sweetheart. He was so caring and thoughtful, gorgeous and giving. He was the ultimate book boyfriend! 😍 Jade drove me slightly crazy with her stubbornness and, honestly, sometimes I didn't think she made sense to herself! She was brilliant at getting in her own way. They both brought something to their relationship. He'd always preferred to be in the background of things, but she coaxed him out of himself and into the limelight a bit more. In turn, he showed her that love could last and promises could be kept. He showed her that she could lean on him and he'd never let down. They were sexy, super sweet, and adorable in their awkwardness around each other as they battled their attraction, and then finally gave in and worked their way to their HEA.

Marriage of convenience, humor, chemistry and tension
Wow, another amazing read from Rebecca, I adore Declan and Jade.It started as a marriage of convenience but I could see the lust and chemistry between them. They have there ups and downs but doesn't all marriages/relationships. I did feel it was a little bit quick at the end but I'm just greedy for all the words from Rebecca, her books are highly addictive with great heroines and hot heroes.I honestly can't wait for more from this bunch of friends. Highly recommend all of her books especially if you love sports romances.

Loved it
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱? Because he was dreamy! Omg why haven't I read this series sooner! It was a beautiful mix of my love for hockey romance and marriage of convenience. I loved how the story played out especially with the He Falls First vibes. Declan.... what can I say except where do I find me one of those?! He was just the perfect package. Quiet at first but steps up when needed without hesitation. He didn't even have to think about helping Jade he was just there when she needed him. It was great to see the relationship develop from what started as a total farce to something real. Jade really came into her own power towards the end. I'm glad she finally realised her worth. I listened to the audio and Connor Crais and CJ Bloom did a fantastic job at portraying Jade and Declan. They both made for very easy listening and I will definitely look out for audios narrated by them in the future. I need to go back and read the previous books now I can't get enough of this series.

Declan is so very SWOON Worthy 🥰
We're back in the world of the Wildcats, and this time we find ourselves rooting for Declan & Jade...Declan Sato is a player for the Minnesota Wildcats. Hot, Hard, Strong & Quiet. Content to stay in the shadows. Loyal & Dedicated. So unbelievably sweet 🥰 We're talking swoon worthy sweet.... 💗 He's a protector. The one you want on your side fighting for you.Jade Davis. Best Friend of Scarlett Miller. Beautiful. Driven. Independent & exceptionally stubborn. She's a journalist/blogger for "I Do" Magazine that finds herself in a rather sticky situation.Having been dumped by her "fiance" just days before her wedding, Jade finds herself in quite the jam. Her Boss finds out it was all a scam and threatens her job... "Find a replacement groom, or I will".Enter Declan. When he offers to help her out, everyone thinks he's crazy, including Jade. But she takes him up on it and the two find themselves in a situation that neither really knows what to do with. The chemistry between these two heats up rather quickly 🥵 it's undeniably HOT 🔥 But it also throws complications into the mix. This "marriage" comes with an expiration date and neither want to mess up their tentative friendship. There's a fine line drawn in the sand, so to speak, and with the amount of chemistry these two have, it doesn't take long to blur.Jade doesn't have a great track record in the love department and she doesn't trust easily, based on the workings of a flakey Mother. She can be a bit selfish, but I feel it's mostly because she's scared.Declan comes from a pretty rough upbringing himself, but he's learned to cope with things differently. He's more open. He's also more susceptible to heartbreak and man does that come. Swift & hard. But, like always, he puts Jade's needs ahead of his own. It takes him walking out for a single night to wake her up. Realize that she's worthy of it all. Realize she's stronger than she thinks. She takes a stand and ultimately fights for the two of them 💗I think this one has been my favorite so far. There's just something about Declan... It gets me right in the feels 🥰 She's the storm to his calm. They complete one another in so many ways. He grounds her, where she helps him fly. Sigh... 😍

Fake wedding
Jade is ready to do anything to. Keep her job, even marrying Declan, a hockey player, when her regular fiance leaves her. Declan is quite perfect whereas Jade is a little lost and doesn't know what she wants. But overall it was a good book.

“...The way her face lights up steals the breath from my lungs. I’m a total goner for my wife.”Wild Ever After (Wildcat Hockey, Book 3)Author: Rebecca JenshakRating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Spice: 🌶️🌶️Jade’s finds herself desperate after her engagement ends abruptly. One would assume it is because she is heartbroken, but Jade’s situation is a little different. She is a writer for a wedding magazine and has been documenting all the planning leading up to her big day, this segment can make or break her career but she is now left fiance-less and soon to be job-less if she can’t figure out a backup plan. Queue Declan, NHL player and teammate to Jade’s bff’s husband. When he finds out what is going on with Jade, he offers to go through with the wedding as her husband to save her career but to also help his public image. Although confused by his willingness, Jade agrees and the two are married, what could possibly go wrong?I wasn’t expecting to fall for Declan as hard as I did but it was hard not to. All the ways he cared for and loved Jade through his actions were so swoon-worthy. He is the definition of actions speak louder than words and I am a sucker for grand gestures. Jade has her own internal battles to fight through and Declan is there when she needs him while also giving her the space she needs. I am usually not a fan of the marriage of convenience trope, but I am a big fan of this one.If you like:Forced ProximityMarriage of ConvenienceHe Falls FirstReviewed by: Karley🧡This review was written by members of the Sporty Spice Book Club (sporty.spice.book.club on both Instagram and TikTok).
